Greetings, I'm glad now to be following this mod; an inspiring project. Forgive my ignorance, but I am not familiar with modding and I was unsure what it means by a 'modpack.' More specifically, does this mod pack install everything you need, or, as I suspect, do we need to install all the mods ourselves, using this as a guide (similar to STEP)? Thank you and all the best.

      Hi!

Modpack means that it is a group of different mods put together, usually put together in an all-in-one pack. Ultimate Skyrim is different in that sense though. It is correct in saying that it is similar to STEP in installation. Belmont Boy and his team have put together a list of mods that you will need to download. These mods will all have to be downloaded and installed individually. The mods are chosen specifically to work with or enhance the users experience with the Requiem overhaul mod, which is kind of where the modpack part comes in. The Ultimate Skyrim mod itself works to fix inconsistencies and glitches that arise between two or more mods on the list. They are even currently working on Ultimate Skyrim 4.0 which is going do to the same and more.

If you are unfamiliar with Requiem, I would suggest reading up on the Requiem page before deciding to download it.
      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19281
Requiem is a massive overhaul of the Skyrim experience and can be a bit overwhelming. If it does seem like something you would like, feel free to search out tips and tricks on how to survive the new Requiem infused Skyrim world because it will be exceptionally harder.

If you do decide to download the Ultimate Skyrim modpack, Belmont Boy has made a really easy to understand installation guide. You can find it under the Description tab and just scroll down until you see the Installation section. Just follow the guide step-by-step and Belmont Boy tells you exactly what you need to do in order to get Ultimate Skyrim up and running as intended.

Feel free to ask any questions you might have on the installation process or anything else. If you have a Reddit account, Ultimate Skyrim has a SubReddit that you can visit for even more help. There is a link for it at the top of the Description tab. There are lots of helpful people over there and a few more hanging around here. : )

First of all, there is no need for this rude comment. It is 100% possible to ask your question in a civilized, polite manner.

      In answer to your question:
Falskaar is a master file for Ultimate Skyrim. It has been awhile since I have played 3.4, and I don't have the ability to open the files up in TES5Edit at this moment, but I am willing to bet that Belmont Boy has fixed any issues or inconsistencies to make Falskaar work better with the other mods in the list. Doing so would automatically make it a master file.

Though Falskaar is a hard requirement to run Ultimate Skyrim, the in-game content itself is purely optional. Just simply don't follow the quest to go to the Falskaar world space. There is no consequence for doing so, but the content is always there if you ever decided you did want to play with it.

If that isn't good enough for you than just don't play with Ultimate Skyrim. This is a pack that Belmont Boy and his team put together (for free I should add) for other people's enjoyment. You're free to make suggestions in a polite and civilized manner. Belmont Boy checks in here from time to time, but the best place to be seen is over on the subreddit which is linked at the top of the Description tab. Otherwise, you are free to learn how to put together your own modpack if Ultimate Skyrim doesn't do what you want it to, including adding mods whose in-game content is optional. : )

can you somehow save the ''final steps'' section so that when you die you don't have to redo all of the settings?

    Hello everyone,

First I really want to thank Belmont Boy for making this mod list, it's amazing and i can't wait to finally go and enjoy it.
Now i've finally installed it and did the final steps and in game settings, everything is done.
Sadly when I was looking through the races I saw Terrible textures for the orc face.

Here is a screenshot of where I am talking about: https://ibb.co/e8tZao

Could someone please give me any advice on how to make it look better?

    Thanks!!!

    Dirkjan,

FIXED by installing another body skin

    Hi Belmont,

I don't wish to bother you with a "when is it coming out" type comment, but I was wondering if you have a more general idea of how far along you are with the vision you have for the project. It doesn't need anything super specific; a ballpark percentage would be nice, but even a "not yet halfway done/we are halfway done" or a 1st/2nd/3rd/4th quarter estimate would be nice. I tried to look for something like this, but couldn't find anything. Apologies if this is a bother.

    Thanks,

    Matthew

You need to use Requiem 1.9.4.

6thHouseBellHammer is right. For the current version of US 3.4, you need to use that version of Requiem. However, US is currently being worked on to be updated to 4.0 which will use the newer version of Requiem. There is no ETA on us 4.0 just yet, but you can always keep yourself up to date on the progress by viewing the links at the very top of the Description tab. :)

Hi Belmont, I am currently experiencing a problem with eyeshapes / eyestiles, they are bugged as a glitch, ESFCompanios or Moonlight Tales mods may be the cause of this? I do not find the solution to this problem

EDIT: I removed these mods and all content off Ultimate Skyrim and the problem with eye shapes continues :(

    Hey Belmont Boy!
I just watched the 5/4 Beta Stream you put up on YouTube. I noticed that you saw there was something weird with the chicken nest. That is because there is a glitch with the wooden chicken coop thing texture that is caused by Hunterborn. There are instructions on the Hunterborn page on how to fix this glitch:

    Q. The shelters above my chicken nests are missing?
    A. Whoops! I'll fix this in the next update. In the meantime open up Hunterborn and delete the file Hunterborn\meshes\Clutter\Stockade\stockadeleanto01.nif

I don't know if anyone has told you yet, but hopefully this helps. : )
