About this mod

Portable cookpots that can be deployed anywhere and consume no firewood.

Permissions and credits
For regular Skyrim, not the Special Edition. No DLC required.

Adds a portable, infinitely reusable cooking pot.  The cooking pot acts as a normal crafting station and can be used to cook food anywhere, without the need for a campfire or firewood.  (Please forgive the silly branch that the pot is propped up on; for animation reasons, the cookpot has to sit a few feet off the ground, so I had to stick SOMETHING under it so it wouldn't float in midair.)

To get the cookpot
Depending on which version of the mod you're using, open the console (~) and type either...
help "yautja cooking pot"
or
help "dwemer cooking pot"
The console will display codes for two items: a MISC item, and a FURN item.  You want the MISC code: type...
player.additem <code> 1
Since the cookpot is reusable, you'll only have to do this once.  See screenshots if you'd like an example.

Works like the bedroll in Realistic Needs & Diseases
1. Open your inventory and find the cookpot.
2. Drop it on the ground. (Be sure you're in a fairly flat area, or you risk the pot tumbling away!)
3. While sneaking, activate the cookpot. It will now deploy as a proper, usable cookpot.
4. Stand up (stop sneaking), and activate it to cook whatever you want.
5. When you're done cooking and ready to pack up, sneak again and activate the cookpot. This will put it back in your backpack.

Comes in two versions
If you decide to install both versions at the same time, NMM will warn you that you're overwriting a couple scripts; that's okay: both mods use the same scripts, so it doesn't matter if you overwrite them.

  • Predator/Yautja: Cookpot has been skinned to look like yautja technology, to fit with the Lost Tribes mod. (Realistic Needs & Diseases is awesome, but if I can have a shoulder-mounted assault canon, surely I have the tech to heat up a snack without a bag full of firewood...)

  • Dwemer: For people who want something a bit more lore-friendly :)

Requirements/Incompatibilities
None
(I didn't write the scripts, but I am 99.99% sure that it doesn't need SKSE)
