Craft a complete set of rapiers and parrying daggers, and add clothing or light armor.  This mod is designed for a lightly armed player character or follower who depends on speed, skill and swagger.  I am also posting an abridged mod, as "Rapier and Dagger," which includes only the rapier and dagger collection.
RAPIER AND DAGGER
"Swashbuckler" includes a complete set of rapiers and parrying daggers, keyed to the Light Smithing perks.  The rapiers are lighter than standard swords and do slightly less damage, but they are also faster and have a longer reach.  The parrying daggers are categorized as armor; they function as shields, and can't be used to attack unless you have shield bash perks.  However, I've also included a complete matching set of offhand daggers as weapons.  (These are designed as a supplement to the parrying daggers, and can only be assigned to the shield hand.)  If you want the option to defend and attack, you could build both parrying and offhand daggers.  Be sure to equip the offhand dagger to the left hand.  I have not been able to make the hotkeys work properly for this combination, but you can switch between daggers in your Inventory.
The rapiers and daggers can be built in steel, silver, Skyforge steel, elven, Advanced, glass, and dragonbone variants.  Dragonslayer and Stalhrim variants may also become available.  All use light smithing perks, and are fully temperable.  Vampire hunters will find the silver weapons (crafted from silver swords) especially useful.
A light crossbow and light crossbow bolts can also be crafted, using the Steel Smithing perk.
SWASHBUCKLER'S CLOTHING AND ARMOR
You'll find a range of options for clothing and leather armor.  The clothing uses linen wraps and broad-brim hats use leather; both can be crafted at the tanning rack.  The clothing is designed for a warrior mage, and includes the option to convert the robe and hood from Helgen into a coat and hat.   A full set of matching armor, including hats, can be crafted at the forge.  It is leather, but depends on the steel smithing perk so that it is fully temperable.  Cloaks can be crafted at the tanning rack:  you'll find them under Hide.
