You don't need to it works just load it up with the creation kit and save it. If you use wyre bash you can merge the mod and it will take up once less esp file. Just don't upload it at any site and it's only for your own personal use.
Gorgulla if you own SSE, and want to save this mod as an SE - Compatible version, that would actually be helpful to many! Feel free to do so, just throw me some credit when you upload it.
Hi. I still can'Mt find this mod on Nexus - SSE section. Could the mod author or anyone with authorization convert it in new CK and upload it to Nexus - SSE?
This depends if they edit material types called variations of "Skin" and "Bone". If all they do is edit the meshes but not the material it should work fine.
I wonder if it would be possible to make the weight of whatever the NPC has in their inventory matter as to how quickly (or slowly) they sink. Someone in full plate armour should sink far more quickly than someone wearing nothing but a loincloth.
On that same point, I wonder if it's possible to make living NPC's sink if the combined weight of their inventory (or just equipped items, if possible, as a sort of lite version) exceeds a certain level. Someone in full plate armour shouldn't be able to stay afloat. This would make one's choice of light or heavy armour even more important, as bringing heavy armour might make you entirely unable to swim, and it would make deep water a legitimate defence against heavily armoured enemies. The lite version would make it so players can still bring heavy armour if they play on swimming. They'll just have to unequip it to swim. It would also allow for more stuff to be carried without drowning.
I don't know. It'd be awesome, and would fit right in with mods that make heavy armour drain stamina, but I'm not sure it's at all possible. Either way it's a great mod, and definitely one I'll be downloading once I get back into Skyrim.
i like this alot, but bodies sink waaay too fast for me. drop like a rock, like there's no water there at all. no "wafting". probably a mod conflict or something on my end. but is there a setting i can adjust to make them sink a bit slower?
They fall like rocks for me too. No biggy though. There is a mine in Solstheim though that has a water pool in it with dead bodies hanging in the water. Will have to visit there to see what this mod does to those bodies, if anything.
I noticed this too. After spending about an hour tweaking the bone and skin buoyancy settings, I could get the bodies to sink BUT they would sink upright in a very unnatural ghost-like way (the bodies looked like they were walking underwater - creepy). I ended up INCREASING the buoyancy which makes the bodies float more naturally than in vanilla. Bodies eventually sink but it takes a long time. (Google search was glad to provide the insight LOL)
Ok. I did some tests at Damphall Mine. The bodies already in the pool were at the bottom when I got there. New fresh kills that I tossed into the pool sank pretty slowly, not like a rock. I have no idea if that pool has different water than other pools.
Strange you guys. I haven't encountered this myself.
Bodies for me sink at about the same rate as they used to float upwards in vanilla, maybe slightly faster. Also all bodies that are in water when areas are loaded will immediately sink, this is normal.
Typically, either they'll float or the lungs will fill with water and they'll sink. But then if they sink there's gas buildup and they eventually float up again, only to then let off that gas and sink again. All the while there's decomposition, and that can take a while. That said, many of Skyrim's npcs have large, heavy inventories that would cause them to sink for much longer, and they might just decompose before the gas buildup could lift their heavy steel armor. TLDR: It depends.
Never saw IT. Had to look the scene up on YouTube. Clown in sewer? Interesting.
ADDED: TES5Edit shows that it doesn't do wacky stuff like change facegens for everyone. I love these kinds of mods that change just one tiny thing in the game. Will endorse as soon as 15 minutes flies by.

I do that, no problem! Thanks!

"making everything in these materials"
