This doesn't remove a single blade of overgrown grass from around Hearthfire homes. Like, the one place this would be needed most. None of the other grass removal mods seem to work, either. Did y'all just assume no one builds Hearthfire homes or something?
This looks like great work, I can't believe I've never seen it before! I am using 'Landscape Fixes for Grass Mods' anyway but since this replaces the esp instead of adding another one, I see no harm in using this as well! I am a little bit confused about the files/versions though...Does the main version delete all flowers/grass/lily-pads from the water? I don't know if I want 'with water flora' or not because I'm not too sure what you mean by that. Thanks
Did you figure out which one is which? There's nothing here named "Without Water Flora", but "With Water Flora" which implies the opposite. I can't parse what "the main file doesn't have water flora optional is with grass in lakes" is supposed to convey. The main file doesn't include water flora? The main file doesn't make water flora optional? Opposite interpretations. At this point I'm wondering if I need to download both and comb through them with TES5Edit to figure it out. Not sure why the mod author can't just give them clear names and descriptions. [sigh]
That said, I appreciate the tedious work it must have taken to produce this repair mod, and it seems important since STEP (3.0.0 for LE) has us install Verdant as if it's been thoroughly vetted as a great improvement when in reality it's pretty buggy.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60220/?tab=images These riverplants are causing clippings with my other mods. In order to remove them, what texture files shud i delete? Please advise.
Thanks a lot for this mod. Have been using it for a long time. I have found another black hole in Falkreath town behind the hall of the dead building next to the brotherhood secret door.
Hi, I use this and while it keeps the grass of of main roads, my dirt trails still have a lot of grass growing in them. Is there an INI setting or mod conflict that could be responsible? It seems that grasses will still grow a distance from their assigned ground texture, rather than stop at the point where a grass texture blends with the dirt texture.
Bethesda didnt handpainted whole skyrim it was done with region generator or something like this and there are options for landscape textures. landscpae textures do have some kind of strengthlevels ( example real life : i do have yellow sand and now i put brown sand on top you will see brown sand mostly but the yellow sand it still there ) i can paint them on the ground with different strength something like this for example fielgrass02 landscape texture i paint it on the ground but i can now use dirt02 on it with 2/3 strength it shows dirt02 but it also have fieldgrass02 in it so grass will still grow there.
Yes I've noticed how painting textures can be transparent on one another. I wish there was some priority function or something that would determine which one was put down last, and thus be the top, which grass would not spawn over. I've been working with your plugin for my own use, going over some particular areas I found where grass still grows across dirt/gravel paths. I've also been toying around with the allowed grasses to give my game its own look. I'm modding the mod, lol. Anyway, I can take care of it myself, I just wish the highest strength for the terrain brush was much harder, and wouldn't leave such a transparent edge. And to be honest... I cannot tell a difference when going from the softest to the hardest setting in the CK O.o

In dawnguard, the quest who takes you to auriel's bow, the vale is full of floating grass.
