About this mod

Your voice doesn't go on cooldown but drains your health.

What is this
This very simple mod just makes your shouts drain your health instead of having a cooldown.

It was inspired by one of TV Tropes' pages saying that shouts' cooldown might be you becoming winded, because your mortal lungs were not made to sustain your soul's thu'um.
This mod takes from that: instead of having to wait though, your voice literally tears your mortal body apart.

(I'm honestly amazed that I couldn't find a mod like this already on the Nexus... if you know of any please tell me in the comments.)
(The closest I found is Shout Combat and Skill System, which allows the conversion from health/magicka/stamina into shout recovery by pressing a key on the keyboard.)

Is this mod script-heavy?
While it may be affected by script lag, I'd be very surprised if it caused any itself.
It's literally just a check for shout cooldown: nothing more.
Unless you use the mixed version, of course (which still is fairly light, just not as light as the standard version with the 1:1 ratio).

Required files
None.
It doesn't even have Skyrim.esm set as master; I still recommend having the game installed before trying to use this mod though.

Will it be ported to Skyrim Special Edition?
I didn't install the Special Edition.
Maybe I won't for a long time.
This means I have no idea if this works on it as is, even though it might (can't check it, as I've just stated).

Incompatibilities
Mods that ignore the shout cooldown mechanic can effectively disable this mod.
Aside from that, I don't know nor can think of any mod which might not be compatible.

Install/Uninstall
Use a mod manager. That's it.
(ModOrganizer works for sure -it's the one I'm using-, the others should too but I didn't test it with them).
