1st) To answer many of you, Yes I have Permission from Aleanne.
2nd) The only changes I made for the Oldrim version was textures and a few Meshes, any and all changes to potions themselves present in this version were also present in his/hers, as for the SSE version I change A LOT, but that's not necessary here.
I plan on very little support for this version because very little is needed, the SSE version on the other hand required a lot of fixes and is where a lot of my attention is focused ============================================================
As for LoversLab, the ban on them has been lifted with the introduction of their 18+ warning, the ban was due to them not having one in the 1st place, this information can be read here:
============================================================ With that settled I hope you enjoy this awesome Mod, because potions may be a small thing but they make up a lot of our gameplay.
**Update 2/13/17** - Working on an XL version for Oldrim, stay tuned =)

could u improve the apperance of the potions th player crafts they dont really look appealing which is weird because the ones u craft should look better than the ones u find in shops and the ones u find in chests
Does anyone know how compatible this is? Are there any mods out there that add new potions with unique models that this mod won't affect at all? The only mods that seem to be mentioned here at all are CACO and Requiem, neither of which I use. I was more thinking of new lands mods and any mods that add new alchemy ingredients and/or potions into the game. Bruma for instance adds a new quest-related potion apparently. It also adds new ingredients (obviously), though I don't know if the mod comes with new unique potion models or not. And what about perk overhauls like Vokrii?
This mod uses texture sets to apply the desired effect. What's more, it has to change the nif path of several potions. All this must be done in the esp. This is necessary for the mod to work as vanilla potions sometimes share the same nif or textures, whereas this mods gives them different meshes. (iirc some vanilla potions also use texture sets which is why this mod has to too).
It is necessary for there to be a patch between this mod and any other mod that edits potions. These patches are almost trivial to create using TES5edit or mator smash.
I wish I had any skill in modding because I would make a patch but sadly I never have the spare time to learn. if anyone does make a patch I would love it.
This. Using them together makes standard potions all dull grey, no difference at all between health, stamina, or magicka (slight difference in bottle brightnesses and shapes, but it's just CACO's shapes without color; no Awesome Potions animations). Certain random potions do still have the pretty animated effects, but the main ones don't and quite frankly, that's a bit sad, since those are the ones the player uses and sees most.
Normally I don't comment and all, but man! you saved me a trip to the dark alley way called the "Rubber's Rab". Lovely mod, much love to the OG Creator of this mod, you people keep making Skyrim experience a beautiful one!!
I have not seen a difference myself, so my guess would be ... no? BUT it is good that it is here on the Nexus as well, because my other guess would be that not every one wants to become a member on the LL forums. ( I am a member there, but mostly so I could download mods from there if they have something good. )
it s great that everyone else has it working but no matter if i use the loose or packed version my potions are still vanilla. any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I made a working patch I've been using for over a month if you want to upload it.
