Brief How To:
==============

Use Boards of Zenithar (message boards located in major cites and towns, like Whiterun, Falkreath, Solitude, Ivarstead, etc.) to hire employees. Hire laborers to loot dungeons (cast the "Mark Dungeon" lesser power to place a scavenging station in a clearable dungeon interior.) Hire mercs to protect them. Hire merchants to sell off the gobs of loot you acquire. Hire guides to conduct tours for gold. Hire smiths and enchanters to improve goods prior to selling. Hire chefs and healers to take care of them all.

Complete the brief quest, The Coveted Crypt, to gain access to housing for you and your employees, and Tanesh Latrago, your personal assistant and teleportation specialist.

================
Employee types:
================

Laborers
--------
Laborers allow you to auto-loot dungeons. Once one or more have been hired, use the "Mark Dungeon" power to create a scavenging station. It must be a clearable interior. Once created, and once the dungeon has been cleared or all enemies killed, select personnel -> schedule scavenging. If you have a laborer available (they get tired after scavenging more than a few dungeons per day) and everything in the cell has been killed, all loot in the cell will be deposited into the chest.
Once there, it can be sorted, searched through, and transferred to merchants (more on that later.) The higher a laborer's skill, the more dungeons they can clear before tiring, and the less likely they are to be injured.

Mercenaries
-----------
Mercs protect laborers, and can be used as followers. The higher their skill, the higher their level, and the better they are at protecting laborers. Mercenaries can be found by their respective Boards of Zenithar, at Yorgrim Manor once constructed, or at Scavenging Stations that they have been assigned to.

Merchants
---------
Merchants buy goods that have been transferred to the saleable items chest. Gold that accumulates from sales can be withdrawn at Boards of Zenithar, or the Yorgrim Manor home office's ledger, and is used for paying wages. The higher their skill, the more gold they'll have available. They also function as traditional merchants for buying and selling directly.

Guides
------
Guides conduct tours of cleared dungeons. There is a 10% chance per dungeon, per day, that a given guide will conduct a tour. Guides can be injured, similar to laborers. The higher their skill, the more gold they bring in, and the less likely they are to become injured.

Chefs
-----
The chef lowers the wages of all other employees by preparing their food and lowering their living expenses. The higher his skill, the more their wages decrease.

Healers
-------
Healers accelerate the healing process when a worker becomes injured. Injured workers have a 50% chance of healing ontheir own each day. Each additional healer has a chance of healing them each day, increasing with skill. They also serve as apothecary type merchants.

Enchanters
----------
Enchanters improve weapons and armor prior to sale. The higher their skill, the higher the resale value, up to double at 100 skill. They also function as spell merchants.

Smiths
------
Smiths inprove heavy and light armor and weapons prior to sale. The higher their skill, the higher the resale value, up to double at 100 skill. They function as merchants, and can break down weapons and armor into crafting components if you've constructed Yorgrim Warehouse.

Trainers
--------
Trainers are vanilla Skyrim character that are experts in their field. Hiring them on at 150 gold per week doubles the rate at which workers in their specialty gain skills. Trainers include Eorlund Gray-Mane (smithing), Marise Aravel (chefs), Danica Pure-Spring (healers), Vilkas (mercs), Dravynea (laborers), Annekke Craig-Jumper (guides), Sergius Turrianus (enchanters), Dro'marash (merchants).

Special Contracts
-----------------
Vex can be paid 500 gold up front to train your laborers to pick locks when scavenging.
Hogni Red-Arm can be contracted to purchase meat butchered from human corpses when scavenging (free, but the Ring of Namira must first be acquired.)

================
Employment Types
================
Employees can be fired, hired, and set to training or furlough modes.
Free Agent - not yet hired. Costs nothing, and skills remain the same.
Employed - Hired and available to perform their duties. Skill increases by 1 point per day (2 with trainer).
Furlough - Wages cut in half, skills remain the same, but unable to perform duties. Used to lower business expenses when times are tough, while avoiding re-signing fees.
Training - Wages doubled, skills increase at 3 points per day (6 with trainer). Unavailable to perform regular duties.
Ill - Worker has been injured and will be unavailable until healed. Wages normal, skill reduces at 1 point per day.

Other features:
=================

Yorgrim Manor
-------------
Completing a brief quest will allow you to enter Yorgrim Manor through the Yorgrim Overlook crypt. Once you have enough laborers and gold, you can construct the Yorgrim Master Suite (a bedroom with an office from which all employees can be managed), Yorgrim Warehouse (a workshop with forge and a marketplace), and Yorgrim Servant's Quarters (a kitchen, dining area, training room, and bedrooms).
Once constructed, your workers will move in to Yorgrim Manor, living and working there, and bringing down their cost of living and wages. (Prior to its construction, your workers can be found near the Board of Zenithar where they were first hired, between the hours of 8am and 4pm.)

Boards of Zenithar
------------------
Boards of Zenithar are in the major cities, as well as Rorikstead and Ivarstead. New employees can be found in each location, managed from their respective Boards of Zenithar. The boards can also be used to withdraw earnings and deposit wages, manage stored loot and saleable goods, and view marked dungeons to see if any need re-clearing.

Tanesh Latrago
--------------
As part of the brief Yorgrim Manor quest, you will rescue Tanesh Latrago, a conjuration savant mentioned in the mod Linked Containers and Crafting Stations (included in the download.) Latrago acts as a spell merchant, and can be summoned to handle aspects of business, similar to a Board of Zenithar. As a reward, he teaches the Teleloot conjuration spell, and also sells Scrolls of Teleportation, and the Dash, Teleport, and Conjure Salmon spells.

Scrolls of Teleportation
------------------------
Stand in an interior cell and use a scroll of teleportation, and a teleportal will be created at your feet. Activate it to travel to any of your other constructed teleportals.

Dash Spell
----------
Lets you teleport short distances, line of sight.

Teleport Spell
--------------
Lets you teleport to teleportals created by Scrolls of Teleportation, and back again.

Conjure Salmon
--------------
Conjures a salmon, fit for companionship or consumption.

Teleloot Spell
--------------
Allows you to loot items directly to a central loot container. Cast the spell, and select "Enable Teleloot". Once enabled, hold shift while activating a body, container, or item, and it or its contents will be transferred to storage. Central storage can be accessed by casting the spell again, or from Boards of Zenithar and the home office ledger. This spell is useful for looting when you are not in a dungeon, or in dungeons that cannot be cleared or scavenged.

Telestorage Spell (see Linked Containers and Crafting Stations for extended details)
-----------------
Allows you to link containers to a centralized, sorted storage  network. Items stored in the network can be accessed from any linked container, and from linked crafting stations. Relevant crafting materials will be transferred to and from your character when crafting (similar to Fallout 4.)

Known Issues
==============

Lights in Yorgrim Warehouse are too bright/should switch off during the day
Cookpot in kitchen is too high
Conflict with Open Cities (some Boards of Zenithar are inaccessible)
"Sort Useful" takes too long and triggers multiple "sorting in progress" notifications
