    I tested both Melee Weapon Range Fix and Realistic Melee Range and upon my testing of the two mods, it appears that Melee Weapon Range Fix is the one that is more realistic of the two mods IMO. You guys can also test the two mods to see which of them is more realistic.

    Hello. thanks for this. Very appreciated. Do you know if something like this would be possible for creatures? like how the "Melee weapon range
    fix" mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38148/?) tried to fix
    the distance at which mudcrabs could hit you but using this method
    instead ... ??

    excellent mod, thank you!
    I modified the 2H in xEdit to 121.25 to differentiate 1H and 2H (both had the same 97 value), for a 25% greater reach for 2H - works perfectly!

      How i do it?

      • open xEdit (in Mod Organizer)
      • deselect all mods and select this one - OK
      • open the mod's drop down menu
      • modify DATA - Value of fObjectHitWeaponReach and fObjectHitTwoHandReach (I changed 2H to 121.25, i.e. +25% vs. 1H)
      • exit and save mod

      dAb mentions in a lower post not to mess with that, the weapon lengths are adjusted elsewhere.

    Oi mate, just thought I would ask around If I could edit the range for my modded weapons separately, and If so, should I basically do it in TES5Edit, and edit the range with the modded weapon being loaded after your mod? I would greatly appreciate your response, and any thoughts on this.

      If you mean editing every single weapon record directly, yes, you can. It's the Reach field in the DNAM section. Load order in that regard is irrelevant, they will be affected by RMR regardless of where you put it.
