All of a sudden Wrye Bash is giving this warning: "Mismatched BSA Versions ; Semi-Open Guard Helmets.bsa" Anyone know if there's something to be concerned about? I'm ignoring the warning for now.
This is the best guard helmet hands down, but the file doesn't seem to overwrite Improved Closed Face Helmets when placed after in my load order. I get to view the nice new model in my inventory preview and the dropped item, but equipped on guards and myself is ICFH. These are the only two I have that affect guard helm itself, but moved this one to the bottom of load order just in case.
update: I was half wrong, I also have Weapon and Armour Fixes Remade, but ICFH overwrites that, and still have the same problem with either one deactivated, works with both deactivated.
This is interesting - my first thought was: Why an esp, why not a simple replacer mesh? So I thought extracting the bsa would be a good idea. I'd like to know if this is possible, or if Brumbek is going to upload a replacer version.
Needs an esp to tell the agem to load the head mesh. also probably has different meshes for beast races, that also need to be loaded by the esp (i hope it doad, otherwise it will look odd with a few guard replacer mods).

That's exactly what you need to tell partition 32 to show face under the helmet, I mean esp. It tells the game it's like glass helmet with 131 partition. Guards wear the same Stormcloak helmet as player character
No downside except you'd need to detach metal parts as cloth doesn't have to look glossy... and that means loading Max again then you know the rest. I even have ebony armor meshes that way. Real pain in the ass but I can assign cubemaps and set glossiness I like now, lore friendly volcanic glass style

Also does the neck cloth remain? Because I really like the neck cloth
