Well I'll be damned. I thought I picked an original spot. I looked at the Mammoth Manor nexus page, and yes, it appears to be in the same area. Grimpieck Hall is just a bit further north. I believe the houses don't conflict, only the docks (Although I don't know why one would want both mods active at the same time).
Why one would want both mods active at the same time? That is easy to answer: Because one want to have 2 brilliant houses/homes. Yet, since i found Mammoth Manor first, i stay with it. Could have been as well the other way round.
edit: After installing it... mixed feelings, coz is not navmeshed, followers stopping halfways on the road to the house. And fhough it's looks well done like an original medieval farmhouse parlour inside, it s no match to the Mammoth Manor.
I like it, and the little things like the hidden room and finding the key were cool. The only thing I am confused by is you have all the crafting stations except the enchanter.
1) Can you make the bathroom usable? I use Bathing in Skyrim - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60421/? so a bathroom would actually be quite useful to me.
2) How many children's beds? I use Hearthfire multiple adoptions - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29249/? so I need room for six of the little rascals.
Beyond those to questions I love the idea behind this house (secrets and references and creepy atmosphere). I'll be tracking it for now, in case you decide to make the bathroom usable.
1) I'm afraid I don't know how to make bathrooms usable, nor do I really care for it. I like to keep my mods as close to the vanilla game as possible and somewhat indepenent from mods. If you've got the know-how, be my guest.
2) There are currently 2 children bedrooms, the attic and the one opposite to the bathroom. Both have one bed per room. It'd be a real pain in the neck to make more rooms/place more beds. To make more rooms I'd have to expand, and I think it would make the house too complicatedand too big. Placing more beds per room would just cram it up, especially the attic. Frankly it'd be child abuse putting more than one child per room. Perhaps I could turn the lower bed into a two person bunk, but that's only 3 kids. Guess you have to decide which kids you love the most. Or simply a diffrent house. An eight person family is simply too much for this place.
absolutely awesome, my new home, only one suggestion (stable) the house is very well done, placements are very good, I did get the reference about sending money LOL, I've had soooo many of those crap emails i have family I didn't know all over the world!!!! can you imagine, Endorsed and rated 10/10

I'll give a try!

Thanks anyway for taking an interest in this mod!
Once the new version of Skyrim comes out, I'm going to try this one. It looks right and it's in a beautiful part of Skyrim.
