About this mod

Allows you to turn some items into static variants that can't be moved or picked up.

Permissions and credits
Description
When you start the game with this mod installed you will get a new lesser power spell "Static-ify". You can use this spell to turn supported items into static objects that can't be picked up, knocked over, or shouted around.

To use the spell, simply cast it near items you want to "Static-ify", you can then choose what type of items you want to manipulate, and if you want to manipulate normal items or static items. The spell will then choose an item randomly from nearby, and highlight it with a fire effect. You can then choose to either manipulate that item, select a different nearby item, or cancel.

Currently Supported Items:
  • Vanilla Misc Items
  • Vanilla Food
  • Vanilla Potions and Poisons (Except Player-Made Potions and Poisons)
  • More to Come!

Known Issues
  • Dropped items may become "static-ified" in mid-air. This is because Skyrim doesn't always records the item's position when you move it. Try "static-ifying" and then "un-static-infying" the item before moving it around. If that doesn't work, simply drop the item, leave the cell, then save and load.
  • Item selection can be a bit tricky with a lot of items nearby, try moving slightly away and centering the item you want to manipulate in front of you.

Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with every other mod, however it doesn't take into consideration some mesh or texture changes made by other mods. Normal mesh and texture replacers work fine! But mods that change what meshes items use won't be 'incorporated'. The soups changed by Realistic Needs and Diseases is a prime example. However, these can be addressed via patches, and I will try to get those up soon.

This mod also can't use any misc items that are added via other mods, it can only use the items in the vanilla game, and eventually the official DLC when I get around to it. Due to the fact that this mod has to use Form Lists a simple patch may not be possible.
Installation/Uninstallation
You can install this mod at any time in your game without worry.

Uninstalling can also be done at any time. HOWEVER, any items that you have "Static-ified" will disappear after you uninstall this mod.
