Anyone know where an old mod that improved the menu smoke is at now? Went looking for it and couldn't find it anywhere. I prefer adding content/upgrading it rather than tearing it out.
"adding content" Loading screen smoke isn't "added content" it's useless and elongates the loading times between the actual content, how can one be so dense as to want longer loading screens?
I have to agree with oblivionmad88 on this, the smoke on loading screens shouldn't really be considered "content". It's an unnecessary addition that increases loading times, especially on lower end machines. One less thing to worry about when running a heavily modded game too. Time spent in the loading screen will actually be spent on loading the game, not rendering useless smoke.
Weird. I installed this manually, because I didn't see a reason not to always have it. When I play inside MO, it works perfectly. If I play Skyrim outside of MO, the smoke still shows up.
That isn't a problem with this mod. If you use MO, you have to launch Skyrim from inside MO. A way around this is to create a shortcut on your desktop.
After only a couple hours after I started playing Skyrim, I was already looking for this. One of those mods you forget you have installed, but damn it if it's not awesome! Must have!
