There is one recurring issue I've always had with it, and that's SkyTEST breaking "Voice of the Sky", one of the coolest effects in the game.

Once I opened up SkyTEST, I saw the problem was merely caused by SkyTEST introducing new factions for every type of animal. From there, it was simple to add the proper faction relationships to each new faction for Voice of the Sky.

This obviously requires SkyTEST, and was made for version 1.48b. There is no reason to use this patch unless you also use SkyTEST. Because this mod is so simple, and because SkyTEST is its master, it shouldn't matter where or how you install this file. So long as it's in your load order, it should work.
