When comparing Enderal version 1.2.4.0 and version 1.5 of this mod, I found that many headwear items were changed by the SureAI team for various reasons, such as: 1) internal creation kit editors names Anglicized 2) armor materials were added or changed 3) 3D model bounds 4) default wearable race 5) names corrected/changed 6) and more
The team's changes have been incorporated into version 1.6 of this mod.
That version misses some important hoods, like from the Wandering Mage set. I mean, what's the point of being able to use it with trash stuff no one wears, but unusable with the best set gear?
I just started comparing my Enderal mods for compatability with 1.2.3.1 today. I was ready to upload one of the updates and decided that I had better check the sureai news. Lo and behold they now have version 1.2.4.0 out. I'll have to download and restart my comparisons. *sigh*
From the version notes for 1.2.4.0 I'm guessing that some changes for Circlet Enabled Headwear will be required. I'll try to get that done soon, but no hard promises on exactly when new update(s) will be ready.
Thank you so so much for this, I love wearing circlets and roleplay putting my hood on in bad weather so this is brilliant as I still twinkle beautifully as it peeps underneath. Brilliant!
Yes, version 1.3 of this mod is compatible with Enderal 1.1.7.3.
If you also use my Simple Fixes mod for Enderal, then position Simple Fixes higher in your load order so that the circlet changes override some of the simple fixes. (the changes that Simple Fixes makes to headwear is also included in the Circlet mod)
Hello, this seems great, I've just started playing the mod game enderal and one of the things i love about modded skyrim is being able to wear circlet under hoods, !!
I know Bethesda put the "can't wear both headwear and circlet" restriction in there for game balance, but it has always seemed like a very unrealistic restriction. Not every player puts enchantments on both, and some players use a modded circlet purely for appearance.
Thank you , it works a charm in endral no problem what so ever and your right most of teh time Im do wear an enchanted circlet but not always a hood (well indoors anyway ) immersively speaking ! .. Endorse, Kudo'd, Tracking , and Thank you !!
-Edit- Nemesis Circlet doesn't seem to work with my keeper hood. All the other circlets I've tried have worked fine. Maybe because it's a set item and works differently?
Sorry that I did not see your edit sooner. I was just monitoring the number of posts (all two of them), and your edit did not change the number.
I just tried the Keeper Hood along with the Nemesis Circlet and it worked ok for me with my set of mods. Are you using any other mods or patches that might be overriding my change ? Changing the plugin order might reveal an incompatibilty.
This mod allows me to wear 2,3, or more helmets of any kind, not just circlets under hoods. Uninstalled and headgear switches out, normally. Re-installed and same problem. Deleted and re-downloaded with NMM as before and same problem. LOOT puts at the bottom of the load order, so I'm not sure what's going on.
I'll second that last sentence: "... not sure what's going on".
I haven't seen that behavior in my testing with just Enderal native headgear. Are you using any modded headgear, or standard Skyrim headgear ? Helmets and hoods mostly all use the same #31 HAIR body slot, which is why hair disappears when wearing nearly all headgear. And so too the prior headgear gets unequipped when a different one is equipped.
A list of the plugins and the mods they belong to, along with the load order might help. If more than one piece of headgear is actually visible, an uploaded screenshot image would be interesting.

Updated the mod to match Enderal 1.5.3.0
