Important notice!:Make a new save while in the mod and delete it after you've done exploring. There's no way out without using the console so it's recommended to load your original save and uninstall this mod (delete or deactivate it in NMM/MO etc.)
Description:
A sequel to a previous mod named The Daedra Returns

In this chapter we are called to face Mehrunes Dagon by destroying his realm and overcoming his challenges. This mod is heavily inspired from the Dark Souls series and many stories concerning BattleSpire, a previous Elder Scrolls game from which I took some lore related entries to create this new realm.

The Soul Spire is another part of Soul Cairn, ruled by the Ideal Masters. It was used to keep souls from all over Tamriel, souls that no necromancer could reach easily without sacrificing himself using soul trapping. A peaceful(as the Masters believe) undead land until Mehrunes Dagon invaded it, broke the barrier that kept the mortal souls in it and took control of the main fort. His servants used the fort as a temporary encampment and started increasing their numbers, making a large army that could last in their next planned invasion to Skyrim.

Beta Version Description:

This version introduces the playable exterior and some interiors of Soul Spire and a simple intro to get inside the gate from Winterhold. To start the mod, simply travel to any area you like or continue playing as you would, three dremora scouts will attack you, then the quest begins.

You must be at level 15 or up and have completed the new game quest called "Unbound" to start this mod.

Quests:
-Prologue of another crisis:
First quest which was left simple as I have many ideas and little time.

-Lost in Soul Spire: The quest that guides us through all the area and is active through the whole mod. Uncompleted

-Cutting through soul gems: Here we are called to defeat a golem which blocks the path to the cemetery and we have two ways to choose. The easy or the hard one.

-Desperate Light: The quest to save the fire keeper from a monster which uses her dead body as an experiment. Uncompleted

Areas:
-Undead Prison
-Forest
-Priory of the fallen
-Cemetery
-Mystic Cavern
-Catacombs
-Soul Spire Fort Complex
-Barracks
-Dagon's Tower
-Castle Throne Room

It is recommended to make new saves while inside the mod and delete them afterwards because the next versions will require you to delete previously downloaded content, they won't be in the same .esp file! If you want to keep the mod active though, you'll need to start with a *clean save once the mod is updated.

*By clean save I mean, a save where you don't had the alpha version active while playing.

Alpha Version Description:

In this version you will play at the undead prison, the first area in which we are locked and struggling to escape. After you beat the boss you can go back to Skyrim by approaching the large wooden door opposite to the bonfire room.

Entrance:
Fast travel to Soul Spire, it's to the far north, near Winterhold with a shrine type map marker enabled. I'm really sorry for overlooking this much needed detail! Thank you johnbrucee for pointing this out.

See the image for the exact spot on the map. You won't be able to get inside the gate without the first quest running though.

Requirements:

Skyrim and latest update (1.9.32.08)
Dawnguard DLC

Installation:

NMM:
Once the mod's downloaded, double click to the archive to activate it. Go to your mods tab and change the load order if needed.

Manual:
Copy and paste the contents of the zip folder to your Skyrim directory, usually found at:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data". Then activate "DR2_APrincesRevenge_Alpha.esp" through the skyrim launcher or any mod manager you use.

Uninstalling:

NMM:
Deactivate or delete the mod from your list.

Manual:
Deactivate the mod (DR2_APrincesRevenge_Alpha.esp) through the Skyrim launcher or any mod manager you use. Then go to your Skyrim data directory and delete:
DR2_APrincesRevenge_Alpha.esp, DR2_APrincesRevenge_Alpha.bsa
Warning! It is recommended to create new saves inside the mod and delete them afterwards if you are planning to delete the mod from your actives. You'll keep your
original saves cleaner that way!

Discussion:
You can use the topic named "Opinions for improvement" to write down whatever you'd like added, or changed. Depending on it's scale, it could be altered/added in the next release.

I would really like your opinion on this project and I would be glad to have a chat you all you who downloaded and tested the first version, it helps keeping this mod and me alive at nexus.

Voice Acting:
There are more available roles for any voice actor who might be interested in helping out with vocals.

-The Narrator, a mid aged woman who is also the only alive mortal priestess of Mehrunes Dagon, she guides us throughout the whole quest as follower and explains the plot.

-Knight Glenn, a mid aged nord knight who survived many tides and is now captured, imprisoned inside the Soul Spire.

-Mysterious Druid, a young and hefty High Elf with a weird tone and a truly suspicious identity

-Shady Blacksmith, the typical muscle-man of medieval age, he crafts many nice armor and weapon pieces

-Dremora Captain, a dremora who negotiates with us in the begining, he is of great importance to the quest compared to his only 5 lines dialogue.

Thank you for any possible responses!

Known Bugs:

-There are chances that your follower will not find a proper path to follow you throughout the whole area.

-Your follower might get stuck when you proceed to fight the bosses because of invisible walls blocking the way back.

-There may be unfinished areas, especially inside the catacombs.
