Version 1.04 is up. It's a fairly minor update (see the Changes tab). It should be safe to update on an existing save; just make sure you're somewhere away from Skaal Village before updating.
I've uploaded an optional 'Compatibility Version' for those wishing to use some of the unique features of my mod with the architectural changes made by other Skaal Village expansions. This version contains only the guards and prison system, the Greathall basement, and the Rimhull cave. If switching to this version from a save with the full version installed, make sure you are far away from Skaal Village and do not have the Mantle of Woe equipped. I'm 99% sure you won't run into any major issues this way, but remember that reverting to a save before the mod was installed is always the best practice.
In what may or may not be related news, JKrojmal (one of my favorite mod authors) recently released his own Skaal Village expansion here.
Great idea but this mod modernizes the skaal too much, the mason work in basements, massive casks and loads of crated boxes...these guys are like stone age nords with enough skill to make a cool wood house. Id love to make the village better but this makes it more like a town in skyrim than an tribe of nords living at the edge of the world.
Much appreciation my friend for giving this location some much needed attention! I thoroughly enjoyed the dlc in vanilla but felt some locations were short-changed. Your mod and compatibility version to combine with JK's will make it look the way it should have from the beginning. Thx once again and kudos for sharing your hard work with the Skyrim community!
"Your mod and compatibility version to combine with JK's" ===================
which version works best w JKs? YsC mentions " JKrojmal (one of my favorite mod authors) recently released his own Skaal Village expansion" mentions jk but not which version goes best w/ it.
I've not gotten to Skaal village yet in my play through, as such can anyone confirm if this is compatible with ETaC (Expanded Towns and Cities) or TPoS (The People of Skyrim)?
Hey YsCordelan, is it possible to make a named "Solsteim" or " Dragonborn" patch that combine your three (Tel Mithryn, Skaal and Ravenrock) overhauled mods?
Are you asking if it's possible, or if I will do it for you?
It is certainly possible. There is a program called Merge Plugins which exists for this very purpose. It should be safe to merge my mods without any problems.
If you're asking me to do it for you, that isn't likely. I don't want the extra work of maintaining both merged and separate versions.

People of Skyrim claims to be compatible with any town and city mods, but I've never actually tried it.
