I use Chrome and it's fairly up to date. I can see spoilers and I can make the same spoiler tags in messages but in mod descriptions it just doesn't work.

Alright. I had problems with mod descriptions too in the past. You have to look very carefully and make sure no other tags, lines or breaks are conflicting. I used Chrome too but I now use Opera and never had any problems since.
Underappreciated "mod". I love you for this. It is 2020 and you can't change the language in options... at least to freakin english... it's a joke and you are a hero.

Without the spaces obviously, simple as that
Maybe your browser is interfering somehow. Which one do you use? Is it up-to-date? I've had problems in the past too.
