Added an optional download. It's a custom brooch that uses the heavy iron shield for decorative purposes, with a simple needle and stopper to attach it to 2-3 layers of fabric.
Non HDT and HDT versions. Have not tried the HDT version thoroughly, so let me know if it works well.
BIG THANKS to Cyphe on Nexus for rigging both versions. I could not have done it without her.
Enjoy 30 different choices and create your own "loadout" of the mod.
Though some textures are very similar in color, they all have different variations of fabric-pattern.
Because of time-constraint I could not view all 30 files in-game, so I just used my best judgement when working in Gimp and reviewing in Nifskope. The pack has dirtied up versions and also include clean sources if you want to mess with them yourself.

I used this mod for a character once. wore this over the hedge mage armor linked here. (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52667/?) clipping hardly occurred and I had no bugs. This mod never caused CTD or save game bloat. it works as intended and made my mage look so much more cozy. much better than the default blanket scarf textures. I would recommend using this mod with the wizard hat retexture mod made specifically to go with this version of blanket scarves, linked here (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/87788/) for full gandalf style wizard energy.
what value should i use with frostfail ? using wrye bash or mator smash can i give these items to NPCs ? can you add these items to general goods vendor and to clothes vendor ?
i stopped using the original mainly because any that i used made my petite fem toon look like she had Dolly Parton jugs. do these work w/ weight slider, or have bodyslide files?
I'm not 100% certain because of the fact most of it's covered, but I think it's just the miner clothing set. P.S. Answered a really old post, but it's an answer for those curious.
Not that I know, though I think Frostfall can now set amount of coverage/warmth at your leisure. A bit busy right now, and since this functionality is already provided by Chesko, I'll consider it covered. Cheers.
So, do i need to download the original mod to get this to work or not? because you say it's a standalone download in the description but the original mod is in the requirements section.

This version replaces the furs. These textures are now included in the main file, and as a separate download.
