V 2.8 is up! Remade the Solitude bath from scratch, it is now in its own cell and is more a bath house than a tub bath (see new screens) no more dressed guests getting stuck in tubs... Nearly all baths have now one or two bathers that do not leave the baths, they will move around in the bath and interact with additional Idle markers, lay on the rugs, sit on the rim of the tub that sort of thing. Right now they are very basic actors. Most all baths now have ambient music. All tub baths now have two benches in the largest tub. Riverwood bath was remade and has a different fireplace. Dawnstar bath has churning water in the largest tub, the idea being it is piped in from a hot spring. I hope you enjoy the new changes that several people have asked about over the years. Going forward this will be the file I use for any future changes! V 2.8.1 In addition to above changes this version is also dependent on "Campfire" as a master! In the two largest baths Markarth and Solitude, heat sources were placed in some locations as for Frostfall users the only real heat source in a bath is the fire place and in the smaller baths that works, in the two large ones there can be cold spots. Now in the Solitude bath you actually have various degrees of water sources from a cold shower to a temperate pool to a warm hot tub or steam room. Enjoy Pulled these files to iron out some bugs, hope to have them back up soon and sorry for the inconvenience. If you downloaded either 2.8 or 2.8.1 please wait for the worked over files.
V2.8.2 Fixed a broken door transport at the Frozen hearth in Winterhold, bath is accessible again; changed the lighting template of the new Solitude bath to a brighter but still warm tone; moved a misplaced idle marker. All baths and bathers should function normally now. Please report any bugs and I do my best to squash them. A word about the bathers, they have no unique dialogue as of yet but depending on what other mods you have installed you can interact with them to a greater extend, otherwise they just mingle in the bath and mind their own business. V2.8.3 Is finally up as an optional file and here are the changes: All baths have a heat source added that is recognized by Frostfall, so you should get warm even if you use a tub not right next to a fireplace. Added some FX to all large tubs so the water looks hot. Changed the lighting in the New Gnisis corner club and added a fire place in the basement, moved a few items around. I ran the mod through TES5 again and removed duplicates to masters. Hope you enjoy
Thank you all for your interest and I hope you will enjoy the Taverns and Baths as much as I do. I am really thrilled about all the positive feedback I received so far. Thank you for all the endorsement and downloads, this is the fastest in growth of any of my mods! "Ravenrock Expanded" and "OldHrolden" versions are up as well as a General Stores version with interlinked storage to all Taverns like in my "Friendlier Taverns Bewitched" version of the original Tavern mod, or if you like in the "Witcher" style. Still thinking about some other compatibility where it makes sense and I am also listening to your reports of any possible bugs and I am and will look into them and fix them as needed and will then upload a fixed version with a new version number. All 3 versions are compatible with Moonpath to Elseweyr now. Cheers.
2.4 and 2.4GS are up! Check the changelog for all additions and fixes.
In response to some people reporting weird occurrences like NPCs congregating in baths and not leaving and random quests pointing to some baths, I have changed all the load doors to the bathing rooms to "minimal use" doors; also I have assigned each bathing room cell to its respective Inn. These two steps should hopefully take care of these issues. To be on the safe side I highly recommend updating to this latest version, especially if you have NOT had this problem yet, because it is random and 2.4 should prevent it from ever happening! Once you have had either of these problems occur in your game you will need to use a console command ( SetStage QuestID #### QuestStage ## ) to reset the quest; look up your quest ID and stage number on the UESP wiki. Use a save cleaner to purge cells for the NPC issue. Safest bet would be to load a save before you installed this mod or start over. That's why if you had no issues so far switch to 2.4!
My sincerest apologies if you should have such an extreme case. I have used my mod through all its versions for many months and never had the issue of NPC's getting stuck or even entering a bathing room. The only bug I had as well once was a quest marker pointing to a bathing room, however I was still able to complete the quest since I knew where to go and just ignored the marker and after that it cleared itself. With this latest version both these possible bugs are hopefully squashed and again my apologies if you got stuck with that problem.
2.5 is up! There are only two versions uploaded now that I will maintain, the regular and the General Stores version. Both are made compatible now with Ravenrock Extended and were already compatible with Moonpath to Elsweyr. I do not plan on making this latest version compatible with Old Hrolden or any other mods that make changes to Inns. The three barn locations should be compatible with most mods that alter those towns, but of course I cannot make allowances for all. The reason I did not add more Barns is because other locations were harder to make compatible with city mods or had already Barns and Stables added by other mods, Rorikstead is a good example of that. Your feedback and suggestions are welcome, thanks for the support. Cheers
Hello all, V2.7 is up with several changes: First of all I skipped over 2.6 here because I made a 2.6 version for SSE only and this mod includes those changes and then some more. So I will port this version also to SSE and then both files are the same again. New: All interior doors in Taverns were turned to open into the room, this avoids smashing doors into the player or Innkeeper. Including some vanilla doors such as the double doors in the Bannered Mare. The door to Nelacar's shop at the Frozen Hearth in Winterhold opens against the wall now and does not block the enchanter.
All bathing rooms have now a safe storage chest, or a piece of furniture where the player can drop off gear if undressing would cause overburden. Or you can use it to stash stuff :)
Turned some benches that were against a wall into the room as they are accessed from behind and NPCs could get stuck in walls or vanish. Minor navmesh adjustment where needed.
Adjusted the navmesh of the Ivarstead barn to hopefully avoid animals in it warping out of it.
Added bread ovens with supplies to the Basements of the Bee and Barb in Riften, and the Winking Skeever in Solitude; New Gnisis Club in Winterhold got an oven upstairs. Now every Inn has an Oven!
Added some straw and a rug to the barren floor in the Solitude bath, Added a missing structural post in the basement of the New Gnisis club, and closed some gaps on the basement floor boards.
Added a stepping stool by the cooking oven in the Winking Skeever so that Player or NPC using that pot won't float a foot off the ground. Added a stool under decorative clutter next o oven.
V 2.7.1 The navmesh in Dawnstar were the Barn sits was not properly finalized causing follower and NPC issues; it is fixed now and NPC movements work as they should.
V 2.7.2 GS I had overlooked adding back some GS chests in the 2.7.1 GS version of the mod, the following locations have been added again: Winking Skeever in Solitude, the New Gnisis club in Windhelm, the Mixwater Mill workers house, Sinderlions Laboratory in Blackreach, and the Storeroom of Mzulft. Some of these chests are not exactly where they were in older versions as I figured new factors into placing them. New location added is the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun; I made a loft by the stairs for the chest so it should work with most mods that alter that interior.
V2.7.3 No Barns - General Stores required. Uploaded a version with the 3 Barns removed as requested by some players; all other updates kept.
V2.7.4 Barns removed for optimal compatibility with other City and Town mods. Have tested that latest version works with latest full version of "Immersive Citizens"
Red forehead bug: If you have a female bathers face texture issue, the weird red skin over their forehead and eyes, I found out that was caused by fair skin high poly skin texture mod that I had installed at the time of creating the bathers. I do not fully understand why it affected only some female NPC and not obviously my female PC. I have now reverted to a skin texture mod I used before and the red foreheads are gone. If you have this issue with the bathers in my mod I suggest that you re install whatever texture mod you are using and it should override it. At this time I do not think that uploading my file again with the textures I use now would make any difference in that process. Let me know if you think otherwise.
rsc587 wrote: Idk if anyone else has mentioned this yet (I sure hope so) but one thing that always bugged me is that the tavern music stops playing when you walk into these baths. I figure you should still be able to hear it, even it's a bit muffled (which would add some realism). It would enhance the mood. Otherwise roleplaying that your character needs a relaxing moment in the bath is kind of awkward when it's dead silent.
Edit: it would also be nice if you encountered npc's in there relaxing. Kind of like those hunters relaxing in those pools in that tundra area ("nearby" the Atronach Standing Stone).
Sorry for the late reply, the absence of music is intentional, that is my personal preference and some people like it that way too. I see if I can release an optional file with music and bathers.
I just saw this reply. Hopefully you did release a version with music and bathers, but if you just did the music version i'd be happy with that. I'm obsessed with finishing quests so if I my character goes into a pool or sauna to relax I feel like hearing the tavern music in the background would help him (or her) relax and be distracted from the thoughts of all the quests they have to finish.
Edit: looks like you have a version up that adds bathers to the baths! That's awesome. I don't see anything about music...but hopefully you put that in there too somehow.
I would encourage you to check out my Cozy Taverns which is this mod continued. I no longer make changes or fixes to this version but Cozy Taverns is improved over this version imo.
Went into the Winterhold bath and the female bather had a wonky arm. It was bent and stretched out like rubber. Unfortunately the same thing happened to my character. The male NPC in the room was fine. Is there a fix for this? Is it something on my end or the mod. Any info by anyone would be appreciated.
Other than the arm wonky, the mod is great. It makes sense for other people to be using the baths too.
Never heard of that happen and I am sure my mod is not causing that. Sounds like you have an issue with your female skeleton or possibly a female texture issue since the male looks normal. That is where I would look first if you changed or added anything in that area.
It is most likely your particular load order or mod combination or could be even a particular dirty save file. Not making excuses but I do not experience crashes at candlehearth hall, but I also know some people have issues at that location and not necessarily because of my mod. Windhelm is a very fps intense location and you have to be careful what you place there. I for example cannot afford to use any city overhaul there in my game without issues. I use my tavern mod the Cozy Taverns version, Grey quarter overhaul and another mod for the gray quarter interiors and that's it in Windhelm and my game runs great.
hello! i have question for ya! i have this mod i'm using called inncredible https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79402?tab=description link for you anyway will this mod work with inncredible?
No it is not, just read the description for both mods and its obvious. My mod does basically the same things, add cooking station redecorate etc. and more.
I have just installed the latest ELFX and tried it with my Cozier Tavern mod (Tavern layouts are the same as in this mod) and found that my Tavern interiors are almost all already compatible as they are. Some need no change at all and some have a couple floating candles, no major conflicts as I could tell. The Tavern interiors look stunning with ELFX so I will work on a patched version of my mod this weekend, however I am going to work on the Cozier Taverns first. I think you could try and see how it works for you as is; which version of FT are you using? Will post a few shots of Taverns with ELFX.
Yes there are only a few floating candles, but they still bother me. I'm using the normal version (without bathers). The version shouldn't really matter though, does it?
I could not make a patch that works sorry about that, but found only 3 locations with floating candles. The sleeping giant Inn has the most with 4 candle plates, one lantern floats at the Braidwood Inn and one candle floats at the New Gnisis Tavern, that's it! I fixed all of them with Jaxonz positioner or via console command. One barstool at the Nightgate Inn is right in front of a candle and could be moved if it bothers. That would be my suggestion; because it is so few (six objects in total not counting the barstool) its an easy fix in game. The vast majority of locations in my mod work flawless with ELFX.
I see that you added the TW1 romance cards as paintings ? Now I am curious to see them in-game. I just have to figure a way to make the barns-version compatible with my Skyrim
Holy crap I did not realize that which is embarrassing. A friend who made some resources packed them in there and I did not realize it when I put the package together. I was playing with this idea awhile back and these were meant for a future version. Guess I work on implementing those now...
I finished placing the paintings last night, still have some testing to do but I realized that I may have to release that version on its own page because of adult content... I do not want to change the setting for all the current files and not sure if by Nexus rules I can have a version with adult content on this page which lists no such content in its tags. So just a heads up
That means there is a mod conflict with another mod that edits faces I think this could be resolved by load order you have to do a bit of research to see where the conflict may lie. All I can tell you is that I ran the face generation process in the CK when I packaged the mod to match bodies to heads. It all looked good at my end. If you google the issue it will point you to steps you can take
Glad you like it ;) Yes I tried that mod long ago and did not work for me either, that was in part what drove me to make this mod. I am still tinkering with it and probably will upload another version soon that includes outhouses for most of the country Inns.
