Are you going to port your mods over?

I have two mods that exist on this site, a wayshrine from the Immersive fast travel mod, and a treasure chest from Hidden Treasures. I will have to check if they can exist together but I will be sad if overlap happens, or ctd because this looks great.

well the two mods are about 100 feet away and co-exist pretty well so that is good, but another mod I tried, the Watchtowers reborn, put a tower smack dab in the town clipping heavily with a house. It is too bad as the two would compliment each other pretty well. I might ask the author to make a patch if he is still working on it.

      Cheers

Watchtowers Reborn conflicts with LOTS of mods I've found which made me set it aside for another playthrough.

Just in case anyone asks, this doesn't conflict with the mod "Pirates of the North". The ruins actually work pretty well with the town of Wilvercombe that that mod adds, makes it look like the town has been rebuilt after taking serious damage.

If you want you could take a screenshot you could upload it as a User Screenshot and show the compatibility.

Looks great! I love mods like this which add small but interesting settlements to Skyrim.

Can I ask, what map mod are you using to make your map look like that?

It would require a little scripting but some passive NPC's with the ghost effect that appear after dark would go good, wandering around as if living there last moment's before the village met it's end, perhaps even a smith and a merchant whom not realizing that they are dead will still trade but of course only have rusty old items and ghost weapon's to sell like the bow and sword from Labarynthian.
    OR
Bandit's camping in the ruin's, maybe pirates or wreckers.

Perhaps even an abandoned but still usable home for the player such as a cellar or nearby cave, interesting landscape furniture even without it so keep it up and perhaps despite what I say less is sometimes more.

An interesting idea, I have thought about it but have no intention of ever doing it is to give Castle Volkihar more ruin's, a sunken town with it's wall or a stone tower breaking the waves the only echo of it, a long lost memory of a time when Volkihar was not on an island from before the land sank and perhaps a continuation to the road that leads away from the castle under the water maybe crossing a bridge that spans a now drowned river in the middle of the underwater ruin's, all of which are now submerged including the bridge.

Another idea is something no one has added, a village of vampire thrall's (Suspicious and unfriendly folk) with a suspiciously friendly rich seeming and very well dressed barkeeper whom run's the only inn were those unfortunate wanderer's whom hire a room for the night and whom are also alone simply disappear (Well the vampires have to get there cattle from somewhere right), you could spin an unmarked quest in which you find the personal possessions of many lost soul's in the inn cellar and decide to either play vigilante and wipe the Ghoul's (I mean thrall's) out preventing them from kidnapping any more unsuspecting travelers or if the player character is a vampire take over the inn yourself and live in the unused vampire apartment's beneath it which have only been used for dumping the discarded and unwanted item's you find there such as worn clothing, iron ring's and other worthless jewelry that only had sentimental value to those whom once owned it and perhaps a few journals of those unfortunate doomed soul's to have stayed at the inn and fallen foul of the trap.

Anyway it is early day's and these are just some idea's.

Downloading so that I can endorse, it is actually a very lore friendly addition and makes sense, I actually think a few fishing cottages scattered along the shore and maybe even one or two on the unused island's would be a nice touch as well with fishermen and hunters living in them.

Keep it up great mod and a kudos from me, here is another no one has done to my knowledge that you could make your own spin on, a simple time warp adventure starting in a ruined village that has a reputation for strange occurrences, restless spirit's and odd light's at night, when and if you investigate you find nothing but a strange door (it only worked one way) and to your surprise passing through the door you enter the same village but in the past back when it was whole and alive with NPC's going about there business though you can't leave that ancient living village to explore ancient Skyrim because it's gates are closed due to some nameless danger from outside in the forest beyond it's wall's and you can only return to the Skyrim world by finding another strange door in the past though that one is hidden and will take some investigation to find it, perhaps you could scatter a few note's that suggest that it is the time before the oblivion crisis and perhaps the time door's were created by a member of the Psyjic order whom has met his untimely end and never completed his mission which was to retrieve a powerful Daedric artifact from the past, an artifact that is still waiting just for your character to find and retrieve it, maybe it lies near the fallen Mage's body somewhere in the deep catacombs of villages hall's of the dead.

You could even do that for all of your villages (just copying them with the not-ruined version of the asset's in interior cell's and adding generic NPC's, a merchant, a blacksmith etc, chickens and goats and one or two villagers) and scatter a whole set of powerful enchanted armor and weapon's in the past that you can only access by following the dead Psyjic monk's diary.

      Thank you for the ideas!

They're great I was actually going to add another location called Wreckers Rest on a nearby island, with a wrecker living there, hopefully I'll do that soon. I've got several other settlements all combined in my Elder Scrolls V - Expanded mod here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68843/? , such as a village on an island (I'm doing work on Nedenheim to add a large castle at the moment).

Hopefully I'll be able to do things like that, particularly the ghost ones, I've been toying with that idea and might impliment it some time. But thank you for checking it out!

So after seeing this I went and checked out your others, very good stuff. BUT having to use so many esp's is a bit of bump in the road. Might I suggest and /or request that you put all the present ones into one esp and I think it will make a huge jump in popularity and useage.
I might download them all (since I finally learned how to do the merges without messing everything up(BIG KUDO to Matortheeternal)
and just do it myself later today BUT many still aren't there yet, and it would help.. GOOD Job and I suggest of course you still keep up the individual mods IF you merge them... that thalmor conflict etc.

I've merged most of them into The Elder Scrolls V - Expanded mod found here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68843/?

I will merge this one into that soon, thanks for looking
