Update: June 14 New Main File: v2.0
For those having issues with followers it's very likely due to incorrect load order. Make sure you install the correct follower overhaul patch, and that it's at the very bottom of your load order. If you're still having problems after doing this and are using UFO, I strongly recommend switching to another follower overhaul, such as EFF. The reason why, without getting technical, is UFO is not written as efficiently as EFF or AFT, and does not handle adversity very well. I'm sure the author(s) of UFO could re-write it to work much more efficiently, but they have not done so at this time.
If you're wondering about the NPC you find in Breezehome, please read the FAQ, it explains who he is and how you can possibly get him to leave.
June 14, RDO v2.0 has been released. The main file and patches are now included in one FOMOD. The changes and fixes text file is now included with the main file. Editing the scripts for translations are no longer needed, everything is either in the records, or the the MCM translations document.
The two loose audio files are there for a reason. It's the "I do" dialogue for the Khajiit voices during the marriage ceremony, and it's done to overwrite the same audio files from other mods. As leaving them in the BSA will cause them to be overwritten by mods that have the same audio but as loose files.
One important note (The same I've said since April): - Updating from FinalA will be supported. (Extra NPCs were included) - Updating from FinalB will NOT be supported. (Extra NPCs were removed)
The NPCs removed in FinalB can now be toggled in the MCM in v2.0.
November 11, 2017: I'm currently working on v3.0. It won't have the dialogue record changes that I initially planned but it will have several new additions and some changes.
The MCM will completely redone internally, and look quite different externally. Basically, I'm significantly cutting down on the amount of variables (resources) the menu uses while still maintaining the same options as before. To put it simply: The menu will work the same, actually a little better, as before while taking up less resources from the game.
Added the option for housecarls to still call the player Thane after marriage.
Marriage dialogue for Serana, and any other NPC that uses her voice. NOTE: a number of dialogue lines will be unique to Serana herself.
Possible marriage dialogue for other voices including MaleElfHaughty, MaleCommander, and MaleNordCommander.
Right now my personal life is very chaotic so there is no estimated release date for v3.0. It could be 1 month, 1 year, or never. I just don't know. But, I am currently working on it.
Hello everyone, it's been quite a while since I provided any updates to this or any of my other mods. That being said, I have previously done some work on providing an update for RDO. I haven't worked on it in a some time but prior work has been done in an effort to somewhat trim the mod down and change how the MCM works to allow it to be as efficient as possible. If all goes well I could have an update out in the next few months.
Regarding SE: Providing I'm able to get the update out for the LE version of Skyrim I will follow it up with an SE release as well. I'm aware the SE version doesn't have an MCM and isn't the latest version of the mod. Once v3.0 is up for LE I will do my best to update and release v3.0 for SE as well. Thank you for your patience and hopefully v3.0 of RDO will be up in the next few months.
It's probably because of the NPCs that the mod adds, there are some followers, one in solitude and another in riften, also one in the Khajiit caravan and one npc that appears in the whiterun player house before buying it, and I don't remember more. You can configure in the MCM to activate or deactivate adding those characters
hello, on some page looking for information related to CTD in Ivarstead I read that the problem resided in this mod when trying to reach the bridge or move around the town or the surrounding area. I have used this mod for a long time and now I don't know if it is so, I deactivated it for a new game that I had to do and I did not have that CTD, although at that time I did not notice it and used to that problem I went and came back using COC so I really did not try it and I have not been able to review it again because I had to do 2 new games and I have not gone there yet. could it be something with some other mod? Is there a patch that I have to have? I don't have any of the mods listed in the loose files in the download. I have immersive creatures, Simple Follower Extension among others.
Thanks in advance, it would be a shame not to be able to use your mod but those CTDs are really horrible. come to think of it I've always had to use COC to the Greybeards There are about 2300 posts, I'm going to take a look to see if someone has posted a solution, meanwhile I'll leave you that query in case you already have it. thank you so much edit: There was no need for anything else, unfortunately this mod was responsible, I have already disabled it for a while and I have had to restart a new game several times and currently several times too and I have not suffered from those CTDs again, a shame but a reality.
Hmm.... i tryed to re-install the mod again. What i did was :
1) uninstall the mod through nexus mod manager.
2) Install again after a few minutes with nexus.
3) when installed again, i thought it didn't work i thought the manager was corrupted, or something. Because the ESP files didn't show up on the ESP list.
4) So, then i thought (hmmm... let's just restart my computer to see what happens ) And when i restarted, all the ESP files where in the ESP list, but only inactivated. I activated them and it was all good
