Bear in mind that is not your typical ENB. You have to edit values for individual weathers in order to see the changes take hold. There are over 30 weathers, which really means I've made over 30 ENBs acting as weathers. These "weathers" ignore the master enbseries.ini since they each have their own settings for the [Environment][Sky], etc. ENB weather editing is for advanced users only. I plan to make a guide for how to tweak them soon.
bFloatPointRenderTarget
The red letters do not glitch or report false positives. If you get that you have multiple bFloatPointRenderTarget or are missing it entirely, then that is absolutely true.
Mod Organizer users are required to write this in through the built-in ini editor (and no where else). If you are a MO user and have it written in the original skyrim pref ini, remove that line. Everyone else, just make sure it's written one time in the Skyrim Pref ini, under the [Display] section and no where else. ControlF to double check is your friend. Spelling it correctly is also incredibly important, just copy paste how I wrote it in the directions.
You need to fix it or else effects will be disabled, you will see ridiculous amounts of pink or blue covering the screen, white screen, haze, etc. Launch your game through your preferred launcher as normal after installing the preset. Do not run the enbhost.exe.
Software Incompatiblities
Known programs that lead to CTD or other weird issues when used with the d3d9.dll (ENB binaries) include but aren't limited to:
MSI afterburner, EVGA Precision Tools, Bitdefender/Anti-Virus softwares, Razer Software, NZXT CAM, GeForce Experience, Dxtory and anything else similar. If using Sheson's memory patch with SKSE, try setting ExpandSystemMemory to false in the enblocal.
Lastly, you may need the older DirectX Libraries if using windows 10 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
Shadow Issues
Low Quality version users: turn off Skylighting in the enbseries.ini by setting it to FALSE instead of true.
Everyone else with any sort of shadow issues:
It's probably due to bad ini settings for shadows. Here are mine for reference. These changes are in the skyrim pref.ini
According to users here, using this Unofficial Patch for SMIMELFXENB works really well. I will re-iterate though that you do not need ELFX or any lighting mods with my preset. I don't use ELFX so I cannot test/do not have these issues.
ENB Video Tutorial use Tetrachromatic ENB to follow along with the video.
I have zero idea what I'm doing wrong. I've been modding for over a decade and a half, I'm starting on a fresh install of Skyrim LE and wanted to use this as my ENB. I install the script extender and it works fine. Then I install this following the directions exactly and I get nada. The screen is black and just freezes with a smaller black screen in the upper left corner. I've done nothing else to Skyrim at this point and have started over twice. It's obviously working for people so what am I doing wrong.
if I had the time, I'd make an SE version. When I did have the actual time, SE/ENB development for it was in its infancy/didn't even have custom weathers support and only a fraction of the parameters I used to make this for LE. Glad someone still likes it after all this time! I may revisit it and do some very overdue fixes for it sometime in February.
My laptop has the following configurations: Integrated AMD RYZEN 5 3500U VEGA 8. Would this ENB be recommendable for my laptop? If so what video settings would be recommended?
