I've seen many of you have been confused about the images. So here is a little recall for better clarification.
These images i have posted for the mod ARE NOT comparison shots !
This Side-by-Side images ARE STEREOSCOPIC IMAGES files aimed to create the illusion of depth in them (as mimic the real world). The only slight difference between the two side-by-side images is that one image is your left eye's point of view while other one is for your right eye's point of view. You need to use a 3D viewing system to see the resulting depth in it.
Here some detailed information about how the illusion of depth is created: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereoscopy
Actually you can use a very cheap viewer like Googlecard board to experience your first 3D pictures. It allows you to use your smartphone as a 3D display to view the stereoscopic images. The cardboard is basically a smartphone holder equipped with special lenses. Here is the link: https://www.google.com/get/cardboard/get-cardboard/ Perhaps some of you can find this very cheap solution too : https://youtu.be/eamKy74n-vM
I've put a link to a 3Dvision live gallery on the front page. Check it out !
I have been a 3D Vision supporter and gamer for years and it has been a great ride. After setting up my Gear VR – S7 Phone with Skyrim, I can see that it is time to change horses. The high end rig that supports 3D Vision is ideal for Gear VR Skyrim support. The PC does most of the work while the Gear VR displays beautifully. There are some of the same problems with shadows that were solved here for 3D Vision. ENB and 3D Vision would have been great together but they went their separate ways. That was disappointing.
ENB is like sitting in front of a beautifully rendered scene that is so good that you forget that it is not really 3D. 3D Vision tweaks along with high rez textures have come close to the beauty of ENB and the 3D immersion is much better with 3D Vision.
3D Vision is like sitting in front of an open window looking out on a beautiful scene. Your head is out the window but the window is still there. Some of the scene spills out into the room with you.
Gear VR Skyrim is like jumping through the window and leaving it behind! You are actually in the game. Your view, direction, and aim are changed with head movements and or the controller. Forward and aft are covered by the controller. The immersion is so deep, you won’t know where you are until the headset is removed. You can sit in a swivel chair or walk around a room( preferably an empty room with no sharp objects).
The Gear VR users have “solved” the shadows problem by turning the shadows off. So my parting request is to use your talents to actually fix the shadow problems in Gear VR Skyrim. I am using the SweetFX Reshade Injector. Maybe some tweaks to the injector would solve some of the problem. ENB does not work with Tridef 3D. Maybe you have some solutions for that too. My Skyrim mods that I was using for 3D Vision Glasses already look very good with Gear VR except for the shadows.

I've been playing Skyrim with 3D Vision for half a year by now. Makes real difference I must say. Just tested this mod and I don't see any real difference compared to a normal ENB + Helix AIO fix setup. By the way, with Dorkirts Skybox Mesh installed (just the meshes as specified by the guide) my Skyrim crashes as soon as I load any saved game. As for the ENBhelper, ENB Mindflux patch and Climates Of Tamriel V5, they are completely optional and have nothing to do with 3D Vision compatibility.
Additionally, what I can tell is that 3d Vision is completely "incompatible" with Tetrachromatic ENB (for those who had the idea to try it in 3D). Because of the effects it brings (truly gorgeous in 2D) the ghosting is horrible during day (too much blur and saturation on certain objects) as well as at night (fires, lit windows, etc.). Maybe with Oculus (it can't have ghosting by definition) or a DLP projector it won't be so bad, but with standard nvidia glasses kit Tetrachromatic ENB makes it unplayable.
COT is an incredibly well crafted mod that brings so much realism and emotion to the game. It has a more subtle weather system than vanilla with realistic skies, and breathtaking dusk and dawn time. I have builded all my ENB graphics tailored with some imagespace enhancements upon it installed and had never uninstalled it since then. I have no idea how the mod will look like without it but it may differ greatly. Feel free to try if you will , there is no other 'raw' technical reason for the use of COT.
Agree, COT is great and I no longer play without it. From time to time I enable its Winter Edition, to bring winter to all of Skyrim. Very nice with either of the hypothermia mods: Frostfall or Hypothermia.
Glad it's not just me... I was wondering if it was time to get glasses.. The screenshots are certainly nice, but I don't see any actual difference at all between the two versions...
Could be a troll mod, I suppose; the author hasn't exactly been active since joining Nexus, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything, we'll see, I guess.
the difference will not be you can see on the pictures, the author added, and so, although I, I see the difference , but not in this thing, it certainly works must earn good glasses and certainly try, it certainly works!)
The 3D they're talking about is stereoscopic Side by Side (SBS) imagery, where you need to offset the rendered image for each eye, and then pass that through optics like in the Oculus Rift of even Google cardboard.
As such these are not comparison shots, but the images you need for a head mounted display. At least that's what it appears to be having read the description.
I would kill to see a 2D version of this ENB with everything working out of the box. I want to use it but not if I have to edit it to make it compatible with my non-3D display.
I don't understand why is this a mod not a gallery? To everyone that didn't get it, it is photo gallery of cross-eyed 3D pictures. Nice photos, but it's not a mod.
Just downloaded manually. Definitely an enb preset. I think it's meant to enhance the graphics, but only if you're using 3d glasses in-game. Possibly fiddles with the depth of the 3d or something.
