Load up your game, travel to another location, activate console and type in pcb
Save. Go to swamp home and see if it works.
If not:
Uninstall mod. load up game in a fresh area, do pcb again, and save the game. Quit, reinstall the house mod, and discover it again. If you don't have the key, do player.additem 0f 5000 to give yourself 5k and buy it again.
In case someone comes through here again and can help me solve the riddle. The tree of my Swamp Home doesn't stand with the lantern, but rather in front of the house. I suppose the mod moves the tree from one position to the other, but doesn't apply it in my game. Caused from? Retextures changing names and the mod not finding the tree it needs? Or something else? It's worked every time I modded the game before, but this time it just doesn't. And my usual mods are pretty much always the same too. Strange.
So, after remodding Skyrim again (!) I found the issue for my not functional tree! In case anyone else comes across this and wonders why. It was the Skyrim Distance Overhaul. The LOD swamp trees are messing with the player home tree. Not checking any of the Swamp Tree LOD fixes the issue. =) Not like you can see far in the swamp anyway, so might as well sacrifice on the LOD.
I've been looking through your stuff and you've made some awesome looking models for your homes! The lanterns on the trees, the dreamcatchers, etc. Would def love to see you upload some of your stuff to a modders resource someday.
I just want to leave a thanks here after many years of playing Skyrim. This was and still is one of my most favourite player homes. <3 The location is perfect, the house tiny yet including everything needed. AND: it looks gorgeous. The tree with the lanterns? I want it on my balcony!!!! I just love it so much. Thank you for creating this house!
Lovely home for my witch, very detailed. Equipped with almost all stations and very small. Also, I love the swamp, Morthal is highly underrated. Thank you.
I have a mod which adds a bard in that area. Funny detail. Well, he just entered the home xD
I really like this house. It looks great and its away from cities and their random/scripted events. However I'm having trouble placing items on the display in the basement. I've tried reinstalling and moving it around in the load order but cant get it to work. Is there some trick to get it to work? I'm also using complete crafting overhaul and zims immersive artifacts so maybe it's an imcompatibility? If it is il just deal with it, I dont want to stop using either or your house. Any help would be appreciated
This home is the least updated of my homes, and is currently going through massive upgrades.
You can see some of that work if you look at the images I sometimes post.
I've thought about maybe hiding this file for a while, since it is so out of date. The updated version is essentially a whole new house.
For the time being, I would advice you to not use this home, because it is so out of date, and this particular version will not get any more attention paid to it in the future.
I love this hut in the swamp, I'm waiting for the next improved version. Although, another version would be fine respecting the design of the cabin, as it is.
Thank you; It's coming, though very, very slowly, as I struggle to stay engaged in the modding process. Much of the joy I once felt has been completely extinguished by now, but it would be a terrible shame not to complete the projects I've already started. The current "remake" of this house probably clocks in at about 200 hours of work.
I sometimes post images of my progress on various project - when the mood strikes me - so you get some sense of what I envision this home to be, once it's completed.
My personality does not allow me to abandon these projects, but the path to a finished project could be very, very long. Plan your play-through - and set your expectations - accordingly.¨
For all the faults I see in the initial releases of my mods, they are still functional, by virtue of me thinking they were great at the time of release. Swamp Home is terribly outdated by my own internal standards, but I also recognize that it's perfectly passable - at the very least -when compared to the current standard of player homes.
Awesome house. Probably my favorite of your series. Any chance we'll see an update any time soon? You mentioned an outdated way of sorting treasures? Cheers!

What's New?
******************
- Fixed a broken (and very hard to find) mesh that caused severe crashes for some people. Hopefully this version will play well with all machines.
- The color of the scarf on the wardrobe can now be changed via the orb - and has two new colors !)
- New handmade ladder (taken from a not-yet-released-project, so why not)
- Fixed several small graphical glitches, most of which had to do with levels of gloss
- Smaller file-size due to more efficient compression of textures

Sorry for the inconvenience.
I hope you will release it even for skyrim special edition.
Pretty Please :)
Congratulations for your work OrinLinWe.
