for some unknown reason, it doesnt happen in my game. i checked tes5edit and it looks like the harkon in my game uses a different "id" during the final battle (im on dawnguard side). only 3 esp are changing harkon here. dawnguard, usleep and this one.
Sorry for the stupid question, but BVFE - Serana and Family is incompatible?! Because it also changes the physical appearance of Lord Harkon (only the bloody glowing eyes and new fangs, in his case) but not the skills, powers, AI...
No stupid question, but I don't know BVFE. You should give a look with TES5EDIT. If BVFE changes only textures and meshes mods are compatible, if changes Harkon edit too, nope.
Thanks for the reply, re-reading the BVFE description says this: "Because Lord Harkon's script turns him back to the North after His vampire lord transformation, I can not change too much. He only gets the eye changes, no fangs." I think that they are compatible. I will check ... and I will prepare a series of atrocious deaths
Im in the middle of the Dawnguard questline, being a bit lazy about it... since I already started it and met Harkon, is it safe to install this mod at any given time? or should I wait til our next and last altercation?

(ONLY) If you have trouble to install the mod try these steps:
In MO/settings/plugins/fomod, set prefer to ‘false’ instead of true.
It will run the external installer and so It should works.
