Description:
This mod tweaks the shape of the Nordic weapons in the Dragonborn DLC.
Battleaxe:
-Flipped the axe head so it looks more like an axe
-Angled the back spike down a little bit
Dagger:
-Broadened the blade at the base so it no longer looks flimsy
-Increased the size of the pommel for balance
-Reduced the pommel spike so the hands would be safer on the grip
Greatsword:
-Culled the spikes on the crossguard for safety when (theoretically) using a Zweihander stance
-Thinned the fur above the crossguard so it looks less bulky
-Thinned and straightened the blade
-Adjusted the secondary guard above the fur so it would catch a blade more easily
-Reduced the grip taper from top to bottom
-Enlarged the pommel for balance
Waraxe:
-Drastically thinned axe head
-Decreased axe head size
-Tilted axe head upwards slightly
-Reduced pommel spike
Mace:
-Reduced size of the mace head
-Increased top mass
-Joined the top bit with the bottom bit so it looks like one piece
-Doubled the head spikes
Sword:
-Widened the base of the blade
-Thinned the tip of the blade
-Removed spike on the blade
-Enlarged pommel
-Reduced pommel spike
Warhammer:
-Centred the head a bit more
-Reduced size of the head
-Reduced pommel spike
Compatibility:
Will overwrite mods that make changes to the meshes.
Compatible with texture mods for the Nordic weapons (provided they use the vanilla UVs).
Known Issues:
The sword has a bit of a squished texture in the centre of the blade. This is the result of my removing the spike that was there. It won't be apparent unless you really look at it, but I still think it's better.
The warhammer has a slight texture misalignment on the bottom of the head. You shouldn't see this in normal gameplay.
Installation:
Copy the meshes folder to your Skyrim\Data folder. That's it! Alternatively, you can download with NMM and activate it through that.
Permissions:
You can only use these if you are able to do a backflip.
