    Doors get locked to soon so i can't get out after delivering my goods?
    Have the mod almost last in the load order, the only one that is loading after this mod is "Skyrim Unbound Reborn".

    EDIT: Never mind forgot to replace the old .dll file with the new one from PapyrusUtil

    Hey All.

    Been making a new load order and been having some CTD's when entering any settlement on testing. Been testing on a new save every time, and sprinting for Riverwood and getting a CTD as I enter its cell. After eliminating mods one by one I've got it down to being Simply Knock. I've tested with only having SK and its requirements installed and still getting the CTD's. With this being a requirement of a mod I want to play around with, I'm hungry to get the issue fixed. Anyone know what's going on?

    While the mod works fine for me and it's a neat idea, it doesn't really change the game that much. I usually end up waiting out of habit because I'm used to not being to knock, or I knock and they don't let me in, so I end up having to wait anyway.

      I guess it's up to you to use it in a way that will change your game. If you're knocking and being denied entry, then you either haven't interacted with that NPC much (in which case, why would they let you in?) or your Speechcraft skill is low. Interact with NPC's more to A. make friends and B. raise your Speechcraft.

    Hi ! I have this mod installed and it never worked on this computer (had it on another play and saw it work) : by working I mean on a locked NPC door, dialogue does not appear. 
    I have both requirements SKSE 1.7.3 and SkyUI and it loads in that order :

    Skyrim.esm
    Update.esm
    Dawnguard.esm
    Hearthfires.esm
    Dragonborn.esm
    Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp
    HighResTexturePack01.esp
    HighResTexturePack02.esp
    HighResTexturePack03.esp
    Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp
    Simply Knock.esp

    What am I doing wrong ?

      You could check your MCM settings... it could be you're there 'out of hours'

      I also have this problem. What does "out of hours" mean please? Does "Simply Knock" not work in the evening?

      Try the mod alone to see if it works (it should because it always has in the past... for 25k endorsements) if so then you have a conflict.
      perhaps disable the bottom 50% of your mods and try again, then 50% of the remainder... you know what to do!
      or perhaps look at more recently updated mods (after2016) that may have changed stuff.

      Barnasto, by "out of hours" I think Saggaris is referring to the fact that you can only knock and get admitted during the daytime (or "business hours"). BUT, there's a setting in the MCM menu that allows you to knock at any time, day or night.

    I knocked people's door and entered, and I found that everyone is sleeping in their bed, rather than standing behind the door. Can you fix this? it's game breaking.

    If you are using other  mods that require PapyrusUtil, you should hide or remove the files from that mod, they are outdated and I have found them it break the "Worlds Dawn" mod. After hiding them and having the latest version of PapyrusUtil installed they both worked fine.
    This is not meant as a slam of Chesko, this is a great mod and thanks for it.

      StorageUtil.dll It's in the SKSE folder.

      You need to have the latest version of PapyrusUtil installed. There is no .esp file, just make sure there aren't any other copies of that .dll in your load order.
      Chesko put them in his mods and there was an update of the file after he retired from modding.

    I cannot launch the game with this mod, even if it's only this mod + its dependencies enabled. I'm using MO2. SkyrimSE.exe briefly pops up and then closes, it only happens with this mod.

    I have SKSE 1.7.3 installed, but whenever I run the game Simply Knock pops up an error that says it doesn't detect any version of SKSE. Is there any way to fix this? I have already reinstalled both SKSE and Simply Knock.

      You could download it again just to make sure the previous D/L wasn't bugged out,
      Are you using an installer?, I manually install everything so I don't know what an installer might do wrong.

    Conflicting with and overwriting the Wearable Lanterns Mod.

      Keep the never version of the files.

      I installed Wearable Lanterns after I installed this, and didn't have any problems, so it may be a load-order issue. Also, mods can only overwrite if you allow them to. Best practice: Use a mod manager and sort your load order with LOOT. https://loot.github.io/

      If you have to, you can uninstall Simply Knock, reinstall Wearable Lanterns, then reinstall Simply Knock.

      For a test, I installed both mods. There was no overwrite prompt from NMM. I have the BSAs broken into loose files for both mods. You may have something else going on, like the storageutil.dll file used in newer versions which I don't have.

      Many of Chesko's mods contain an identical version of StorageUtil.dll, and it doesn't matter which mod overrides, because again the file is identical.
