    FAQ's

Q: What does this mod do?
A: It provides a reasonable outlet for the chattering ninnies in my brain.

Q: Wait, what kind of answer is that? I just want to download a quest mod.
A: No, it's not that simple. This is more than a mod - this is a life-altering experience.

Q: Will Blood of the Nord help alleviate my debt and/or provide a heightened sense of purpose?
A: Possibly. Early studies link Blood of the Nord to an increase in Nord-oriented behavior, including drinking, fighting, and verbally accosting lactophiles.

Q: Will Blood of the Nord help me in the gym?
A: Without question. Test subjects exhibited a 50% increase in muscle mass, and set new PR's in the deadlift after their playthrough. Visualizing the murder of Thalmor is associated with maximal gains.

Q: Do I get to kill Thalmor?
    A: Yes, lots of them.

Q: There is vanilla "Lots" and Someguy "Lots". Which one are we talking about?
A: It's closer to the former in this installment.

Q: I demand an equivalent questline for the Empire. It's unreasonable to force players to side with Ulfric just to access your content. This is a travesty!
A: This was always written from a Stormcloak perspective. It is certainly not a rosy take on their victory - far from it. However, I'm just not interested in making an Empire-oriented questline at the present.

Q: What kind of stimulating shenanigans can we expect this time? More profane snark from irreverent cowboys? Or have you branched out to peevish urbanites? Oh, I can't wait to see the wondrous variety of characterization provided by Someguy.
    A: Uninstall and un-endorse.

Q: No, it's far too early to use that tactic. You can't just throw that around like it's the fifth amendment.
    A: Uninstall and un-endorse.

Q: You're out of control. No tact. No sense of responsibility. No outreach to the community. You'e a menace to the Nexus.
    A: Uninstall and un-endorse.

Q: You will answer for this. Eve always said you were a rogue modder, always content to tinker away in solitude like some deranged bomber. Too good to join a modding team? Won't deign to answer my pleas for technical assistance, hmm? Well, the modding gods frown on those who spurn the community. Introvert, hah! You're an... asstrovert!
    A: Uninstall and un-endorse.

Q: So, are you going to provide any information that is even remotely germane to the mod?
A: Absolutely. It's a mid-sized quest mod that takes a few hours to play.

Q: That is so underwhelming that I'm poised to vomit. I'm better off with ass-fondling tentacle mods right now. SELL ME!
A: BLOOD OF THE NORD will utterly transform your playthrough. You will experience hate, love, and fear! You will revel in the indescribable excitement of... post-war... misery?

Q: YOU CALL YOURSELF A MODDER?! SELL ME, NOW!
A: BLOOD OF THE NORD IS A DLC-SIZE, PROFESSIONAL-LEVEL, TEAM-MADE, GRAPHIC-LADEN, ULTRA-HYPHENATED, ALL-CONQUERING MOD THAT WILL FOREVER CHANGE YOUR PLAYTHROUGH, AS WELL AS YOUR LIFE. AND IT HAS TITTIES. YES, TITTIES IN EVERY QUEST. REVISED TITLE IS NOW "TITTIES OF THE NORD"!

Q: Better. Needs more soothing promotional images, though. Preferably with titties.
    A: Uninstall and un-endorse.

I just played through the SE port of this mod, but I'll be leaving my comment here too since this version was submitted by the original author...

Blood of the Nord was a great experience, mixing some really dark and bleak themes with the trademark black humor and funny dialogue of someguy2000's mods. I first learned of the author's mods through his Fallout: New Vegas content, so I knew what to expect and was not disappointed. It was also refreshing to see the deeper reasons behind the Human-Elven conflict and Skyrim's rather precarious situation following a Stormcloak victory explored in in a mod.

I really hope we'll see more someguy2000 Skyrim content in the future, including the potential sequels to this mods. (Sons of Shor in particular sounded interesting.)

It looks like in addition to the mod, the file itself has been removed from the Nexus. The porter must have violated Nexus policy somehow.

hi guys, I've decided to upload this mod to gdrive and share it (I am not a modder/porter or something like this, just a regular user) - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cLnUIDSOyvWklzSXTaIxWj73rnzLfeo7/view?usp=drive_link
I found, that it's not accessible anymore, but someone want it. And I didn't delete it from my PC. This is a port to SE

And so you will die a heretic's death. Stormcloak is the only way, FOR ULFRIC AND SKYRIM!

So you reckon wrong cause Hammerfell is independent and get rid of THalmor only by themself. Imperial weak undisciplined generals couldn't win having mixed-races legionnaires against Thalmor... Empire is over for now and forever. It is time for independent countries.

It's cool that you get to kill lots of Thalmor but i don't want to see Stormcloaks seeking allies in redguards and orcs. That ruined my Nord supremacy immersion :D
Yes i uninstalled after demolishing those green skinned bitches btw

Remember that Ulfric was sending militia to High Rock seeking help from Bretons... This dialogue is actually in the game between Ulfric and Galmor. Even though seeking help from Bretons is not logical... this is still a proof that Stormcloaks are not raciscs or supremaciscs and would want some help from the outside. There we have a Redguards coming to the party cause they are practically in the same situation. They are both strong warriors hating magic, they both hate Thalmor, they both want to be independent and both hate Empire. Futhermore once Nords were serving with Redguards within imperial legion during war against Thalmor so probably older members of Stormcloaks would suggest Ulfric to try join forces with Hammerfell that (remember!) managed to get rid of Thalmor only by themselfs alone.
Forgive my language but english is not my mother tounge.

Endorsed. I just finished the quest line.

One of the best written quest mods I have ever played. Very few mods I could even compare to this. It paints a very nuanced view of the stormcloak victory. Neither all good, nor all bad.

You have to make a lot of choices and none of them are easy. Do you want to be an all good person or do you place stopping the Thalmor above everything else?

The voice acting is also amazing. There were some comedic relieves throughout the quests but none of them were cheesy, gave me a good chuckle without ruining the tone.

It's unlikely, I think someguy is just burnt out on modding. Which is a shame but understandable.
