I love this mod but I seem to be having a weird problem where my door textures are like...wavy....is this normal?

I know this is really late but just incase anyone else has this issue. You are overwriting another mod that does farmhouses, that other mod is adding parallax to the farmhouse and the texture from this mod doesn't match up.

Wonderful, realistic, primitive/rustic wood textures. LIGHTWEIGHT 1k textures!

The outer roof-thatching is quite realistic, and naturally colored -- as are all the hand-worked "wall boards" and "plank floors".

For those who don't know, AoF calls this "farmhouse" because Bethesda called the rustic wood texture directory "/farmhouse". As a comment below states, these textures are used in numerous places across the gameworld, and not only farms, so these graphics are extremely ubiquitous/common.

    Three questions for AoF:

    1. I have made parallax _p files, which add a bit to your work, deepen the nail marks, spaces between boards and cracks, and give the wood more "warp" than your AMAZINGLY EXCELLENT normal maps. If you want to include these _p's I will hand them over, otherwise I may post them as a separate mod for your mod.

    2. I have also made some of the 1k textures sharpened, deepened the black and white levels, desaturated for ENB parallax use. I run Vivid Weathers with Vividian or Tetrachrome ENBs rsp., and your textures pop hard with these heavily saturated ENBs (even with VW's MCM saturation settings on low). I can hand these diffuses over to you, as well!

    3. 2k or 4k question: Do you have the original hi-res diffuse maps you used? 1k can get a bit blurred when close. I usually run 2k texs for surfaces like this, as I have a very large monitor. I would LOVE to get 2k versions of these excellent diffs, even if they are not in a completely finished state. However, your normals are already the bomb.

Conclusion: Amazing, realistic "immersive" texs for Skyrim. This is what Medieval/Dark Age/Bronze age hand-tooled wood likely looked like. 2k would make me very very happy indeed.

I love these textures, but I wish the door was more than 512 as it's the only thing I have a problem with.

Stone elements look great I just wished wood texture was more varied, planks having different and less noisy texture then pillars.

Great mod. I wonder if it is safe to DDSOpt the normals to 512kb.

Looks great but was wondering what the texture size is? (4096px)?
I know it says this is not a huge texture replacer just higher than the vanilla,.
I ask because I have Skyrim HD installed and this will overwrite for the farmhouses and wanted to know which was better quality textures.
VRAM is not a problem and Iam using Skyrim HD Full.
    Thank You for any comments...

These are 2048 size textures. I personally prefer AOF's farmhouses over anything out there even if they're not 4k ones. This is really one of my all time fav texture replacers. Best thing is just to test to see which you prefer... textures are such a subjective choice.

Yeah, I had to put Skyrim Hd's Farmhouse folder over the AOF Farmhouses, as the wood has jaw dropping detail on the outside of the house, although AOF Farmhouse is also decent.
