Brief Mod Description:



This is my very first mod, so be gentle ^_^ Until I know how to make custom followers, my presets will have to do. Abrianna Skye is the 4th oldest child out of 5 siblings. The only other sibling younger then her is her twin sister Arabella, and Arabella likes to argue that its only by a scant few seconds.  She is a dual wielder rogue in my game, and if I manage to figure out how to make custom followers, I shall make her that also.  Her mother is an Elf and her father a Nord.  Most noticeable traits from her parents is inheriting her father's more Nord-like facial features and hair color, and then her mother's eyes, ears, and spunk.

Back Story:


Abrianna Skye, a name that means "one who rules nations".  A powerful name to bestow on a tiny child, but her parents the Lady Amaltheia and Jarl Árón, knew she would live up to such a mighty name.  They watched her as she would study the creatures of the wood, mimicking their light steps and calm demeanor.  They felt amazed by her stealth and curiosity.   Abri lived life with carefree abandon and zest, running barefoot through the fields, dragging her innocent yet just as willful twin sister Arabella along with.  Amaltheia and Árón loved how loyally they clung to each other as they grew up.  They were as inseparable as the tide needs the moon.

Abrianna would take risky journeys to learn everything she could of the world around.  She inherited from her mother, a keen sense of nature and the energies that pooled from the Earth.  Abrianna's father Árón, was very much a warrior of the north where snow and chill hardened its people; though he always showed warmth and understanding towards his wild children and spirited wife.  In their eyes he could fix anything- do anything, and their mother could win the heart and love of any rebel by just speaking with her soft silky voice.  She was beautiful, but not just beautiful- she also proved to be a skilled tracker, nurturer of animals and people, and an inspiring diplomat.  

By allowing their children the independence to grow into who they are as adults, was truly rewarding to witness for an end result to Amaltheia and Árón; however it was Hell trying to keep those kids safe while they did all their wild risks.  Especially with Abrianna in particular.  Abri never took a breath from moving on to the next unplanned danger after another.  From leaping off the edge of their rickety old dock, just to land in the ocean which was deeper then her father could even reach; to climbing up onto the back of her father's noble war steed Goliath as it rested in the field.  Amaltheia and Árón's heart have never beat the same since that scare.  Luckily after Goliath stood up from being awoken by Abri's fearless climb onto his back, he stood ever so still knowing her father was the only one who could command him into action.  He was trained brilliantly, and so that training is what saved their precious child's neck till Árón snatched her off Goliath's back.  The innocent babe unaware of her danger.  Now she knew better, but still did things anyway.

As dawn crept over the hillside through Abrianna's bedroom window, she woke with a sudden burst of energy.  Tossing her blanket to the floor, she began to dress into her light cream tunic and pants.  She donned a brand new pair of brown leather boots her father made especially for her.  Not paying much mind to primping her hair like Aurora or Alia do every day, she made a simple side swept braid so her long brown locks could drape over her shoulder.

Placing a simple feather or two into her braid where they would perch securely; she never left home without them now, they were a kind gift from Alia for Abri's birthday.  Snatching her strategically made small daggers from the underside of her pillow, she placed one into a sheath that tied around her thigh, and then the last one in a sheath that held at her hip.  Taking off quietly down the halls, she quickly ran outside the main hall making her way towards the woods.  Knowing Arabella would try to find her eventually, Abri decided to leave subtle clues for her sister to cleverly track her.  And so her newest adventure began.

Nothing is more painful then losing your family. Sadly Abrianna has come to learn this lesson the hardest way. She lost her beloved twin sister... Her wonderful mother with more heart and kindness in just a light smile, then any long devoted preacher for Mara. And her strong and loyal father. A man known well for his prowess in battle, as well as a family man devoted to the happiness of his children and wife. All... gone. Taken.

Aurora, her eldest sister lived far away with her own husband. She won't arrive in time, but the farm boy was sent with letters of what came to pass on the McNeven land anyways. They would come with many men eventually.  Adonis was traveling with his fellow Stormcloak brethren for the upcoming war against the Imperials, by the time he catches news of the fall of their homeland- it'll be too late. Alia is with a dear friend in Cyrodiil. A message by courier was sent in her direction too, but she was too far away and unable to help now. Abrianna knelt down to the ground, her feet balancing her light frame as she stared at the foot prints and hoof tracks. "Its all fresh. Maybe a full afternoon and eves past." She thought. She could tell by the moisture around the prints and the beginning crusting of the inner mud wall. Tracking is what she was trained to do. All of her siblings were trained to be the great Ningheim warriors of legend. Skilled in many different arts for warfare.

Abrianna can still see flames from their stronghold, now reducing it to rubble and soot. Like a heavy thick fog masking around a dreary swamp, the foul smell of death hung about her castle courtyard. Livestock that couldn't be carried was killed off, and left to rot in the fields and corrals. Many wonderful people that served her family loyally laid motionless on the cobble stones. Abri's heart ached making her instinctively look away from the screaming expressions of dead friends.  The horror of it, her legs quivered by the frightful fear in their now empty eyes.

Nothing was alive on her family's land now. No sign of mercy. "You all shall be avenged." Abri's voice trembled from the surfacing emotions. Having already run to different sections of her home that now laid in heaps of rubble, she managed to find a few scarce belongings left intact after the fire, including her family ring, her mother's special hair clip, and Arabella's precious stones that held powerful spell charms; they were a gift from mother when Arabella's magic began to show fruitful promise. No, Abrianna couldn't leave them behind. So she held on dearly to her family's keepsakes.  The Thalmor won't get away with this. No matter how far they sail, she will follow.

She didn't understand why the Thalmor would take father and mother.  Though they supported the freedom of believing in any faith in the privacy of ones own home... why would the Thalmor risk retaliation by the Ningheim warrior clans throughout this area? There must be more to this dark deed, but Abrianna didn't have time to worry about it now.  Right now, she has to worry about the three lives that mean most to her.  Her mother, father, and dear sister need her calm and determined resolve.  Her enemy traveled on horseback and wagon, they have a quicker pace; but the shadows was on her side- and the night. For now, she would travel light, and meet up with her parents and Arabella. All she needs to do is make her way towards the ocean docks, three days ride from here.
