This mod is about Role-playing.
In the original game, you can participate in Kyne's Sacred Trials by hunting the guardian beasts of Skyrim, and in the end of the quest, receive a weak amulet which you will hardly ever use.
This mod makes this quest to be a true Sacred Trials of the great Aedra, known as Kyne (Nordic aspect), Kynareth (Empire aspect), Khenarthi (Khajiiti aspect), or Tava (Redguard's aspect). You are the Dovahkiin, and Kyne first taught men how to wield the Thu'um, therefore, you will be granted not only the blessed Aedric Artifact, but also a shout, that allows you to call powerful creatures, Champions of Kynareth, manifestations of the strongest of the Sky spirits, while you are having the Artifact with you.
Manifestations of Kynareth in Nirn are Spriggans, which have powerful archetypes, such as Spriggan Matron, Spriggan Earth Mother and Burnt Spriggan, and elemental personifications of snow or mist, such as Ice Wraith and Wispmother. These beautiful creatures have unique Restoration abilities and will help you in your travels.
This mod makes that you can be the Dragon of the Peace, Drem Dovah, the Druid, who lives in Peace with the Nature. In Lore-friendly way.
With this mod, you can finish The Blessings of Nature Quest as a Druid, without hurting the Guardians of the legendary Eldergleam, without need to deal with Maurice, if Token is obtained. Nettlebane now is a deadly weapon against manifestations of Kynareth, and is a unique artifact.
This mod makes Spriggans, Ice Wraiths and Wispmothers that are not Champions, to become more powerful in some aspects as well (while keeping full compatibility with mods such as Revenge Of the Enemies).
Description:
Role-playing aspect and Lore:
Kynareth says: Use Nature's gifts wisely. Respect her power, and fear her fury. — Ten Commands: Nine Divines
Kynareth, Kyne, or Kaan in the dragon language, is the goddess of the heavens, the winds, the elements, and the unseen spirits of the air.
She is a member of the Eight/Nine Divines and Patron of sailors and travelers. The Sky Goddess, worshiped by the Nords as the strongest of the Sky spirits and the widow of Shor (Lorkhan), is the Nordic aspect of Kynareth. Some consider her to be the leader of the Nordic pantheon of Divines.
Nords believe she first taught them how to wield the Thu'um through Paarthurnax as her instrument. Appropriately, "Kaan" is a Word of Power, which can be used to soothe wild beasts, who are also believed to be her creation. Many great Tongues are considered to be blessed by Kyne.
The ancient Nords associated her with the hawk (as well as Khajiiti's aspect of Kynareth - Khenarthi - Goddess of the Winds, is usually represented as a great hawk.). Bas-reliefs, murals and totemic representations depicting Kyne can be found in various Nordic ruins throughout Skyrim.
After the Kyne's Sacred Trials, you will, indeed, need to find the mural of the Sky Goddess in the Nordic ruins. There, in the place of the Siege on the Dragon Cult, you will find a great power.
Manifestations of Kynareth, their Lore and abilities:
Spriggans, often called Nature's Guardians, are tree spirits that take the form of female humanoids. Spriggans have their own unique language, which can be learned by scholars and used to calm the creatures. They are usually found protecting secluded glades and groves all over Tamriel, often blending in with the plant life. Spriggans attack with their long, sharp fingers, and have the ability to poison enemies. They have incredible regenerative abilities, resulting in adventurers often having to defeat them several times before they remain dead. If threatened, they can call nearby woodland animals to aid them in battle. Spriggans are associated with Kynareth. Spriggans in the wild generally remain peaceful, often nurturing and healing wildlife.
In addition to original game's abilities:
Spriggans constantly regenerate health in combat. Strength of the regeneration is related to the type of Spriggan. Spriggans have absolute resistance to poison. Immune to paralysis. Have constant weakness to fire element. Have increased unarmed damage made by their long, sharp fingers. Silent, no constant sound loop. Logic is simple: Spriggans surrounded by leaves, they are tree spirits, not vespiary.
Additional abilities of the Champion of Kynareth Spriggan called by the Shout:
Creature will be the same level as you when you call it. Improved base health and magicka. Faster movement speed. Does not bleed.
Champions of Kynareth have Aura of Spriggan, that restores your health, magicka and stamina by 1 point per second constantly, while you are nearby the Spriggan.
Spriggan Matrons may be identified by their golden halo effect and taller, more muscular form, in contrast to the green halo and slender silhouette of a regular Spriggan. More powerful archetype of Spriggan.
In addition to original game's abilities:
Spriggan Matrons constantly regenerate health in combat with higher rate than regular Spriggans. Have absolute resistance to poison. Immune to paralysis. Have constant weakness to fire element. Have increased unarmed damage made by their long, sharp fingers. Silent, no constant sound loop.
Additional abilities of the Champion of Kynareth Spriggan Matron called by the Shout:
Creature will be the same level as you when you call it. Improved base health and magicka. Increased movement speed. Does not bleed.
Champion of Kynareth Spriggan Matron has the Aura of Spriggan, that restores your health, magicka and stamina by 3 points per second constantly and cures all the deceases, while you are nearby the Spriggan.
Spriggan Earth Mothers may be identified by their purple coloring and have a more experienced control over nature. One of the most powerful archetype of Spriggan known, to be manifested in Nirn.
In addition to original game's abilities:
Spriggan Earth Mothers constantly regenerate health in combat with higher rate than regular Spriggans and Spriggan Matrons. Have absolute resistance to poison. Immune to paralysis. Have constant weakness to fire element. Have increased unarmed damage made by their long, sharp fingers. Silent, no constant sound loop.
Additional abilities of the Champion of Kynareth Spriggan Earth Mother called by the Shout:
Creature will be the same level as you when you call it. Improved base health and magicka. Increased movement speed. Does not bleed.
Champion of Kynareth Earth Mother has the Aura of Spriggan, that restores your health, magicka and stamina by 5 points per second constantly, cures all the deceases, and protects you from poison, while you are nearby the Spriggan.
Ice Wraiths are the "...elemental personifications [of ice] ...innately wielding the power of their element." ("The Wispmother").
In addition to original game's abilities:
Ice Wraiths constantly regenerate health in combat. Wraiths can be generally found only in snowy areas and summoned only when weather in the state of the Storm snow, and consequently, being the elemental personifications of the surrounding environment, absorb the element, regenerating. Strength of the regeneration is moderate. Ice Wraiths have absolute resistance to poison and resistance to damage in general. Immune to paralysis. Have constant weakness to fire element and absolute resistance to frost element.
Additional abilities of the Champion of Kynareth Ice Wraith called by the Shout:
Creature will be the same level as you when you call it. Improved base health and stamina. Faster movement speed. Does not bleed.
Champion of Kynareth has the Aura of Ice Wraith, that restores your stamina, and, by gently refreshing all your muscles, makes all your movements more rapid and accurate, while you are nearby the Ice Wraith. Ice Wraith's Aura grants additional elemental protection, by dispelling the native element in the area of the Aura.
Burnt Spriggans are the fire element archetype of a Spriggan, that live on the island of Solstheim, generally, at Ash Wastes, after the Red Year, and were believed to be normal Spriggans up to the eruption of Red Mountain in 4E 05. Burnt Spriggans may be identified by their red fiery tint effect and slender silhouette.
In addition to original game's abilities:
Burnt Spriggans constantly regenerate health in combat as other Spriggans. Burnt Spriggans can be generally found only in Ash Wastes areas and summoned only when weather in the state of the Volcanic Ash Storm, and consequently, being the elemental personifications of the surrounding environment, absorb the element, regenerating with the pace of Spriggan Matron. Burnt Spriggans have absolute resistance to poison. Immune to paralysis. Have constant weakness to frost element and absolute resistance to fire element.
Additional abilities of the Champion of Kynareth Burnt Spriggan called by the Shout:
Creature will be the same level as you when you call it. Improved base health and magicka. Faster movement speed. Does not bleed.
Champion of Kynareth Burnt Spriggan has the Aura of Spriggan, that restores your health, magicka and stamina by 3 points per second constantly, while you are nearby the Spriggan. Grants additional elemental protection, by dispelling the native element in the area of the Aura.
Wispmothers are elemental manifestations arising out of Nirn itself, being amongst the most powerful creatures in Skyrim.
"Lydette Viliane of the Synod contends that Wispmothers are ... elemental manifestations arising out of Nirn itself. By noting several similarities to Spriggans and Ice Wraiths, she contends that the Wispmothers are essentially elemental personifications of snow or mist, innately wielding the power of their element, instead of manipulating it through conventional sorcery." ("The Wispmother")
In addition to original game's abilities:
Wispmothers constantly regenerate health, in combat. Stamina and magicka regeneration rate is increased. Wispmothers can be generally found only in snowy and misty areas and summoned only when weather in the state of the Storm snow, and consequently, being the elemental personifications of the surrounding environment, absorb the element, regenerating. Wispmothers have absolute resistance to poison and resistance to damage in general. Immune to paralysis. Have constant weakness to fire element and absolute resistance to frost element. Have the ability of Waterwalking.
Additional abilities of the Champion of Kynareth Wispmother called by the Shout:
Creature will be the same level as you when you call it. Improved base health and magicka. Faster movement speed. Does not bleed.
Champion of Kynareth Wispmother has the Aura of Wispmother, that restores your magicka, and, by solidifying the water, allows you to walk on water, which can be critical for surviving in places nearby Sea of Ghosts, for example (especially, if you use Frostfall), while you are nearby the Wispmother. Wispmother's Aura grants additional elemental protection, by dispelling the native element in the area of the Aura.
Now, about the granted Thu'um:
This mod adds a new Shout, called "Call of The Champion of Kynareth", consisting three Words of Power. Shout has unique shout construction and voice, constructed from original game's shouts. Can only be used when having the Kyne's Token.
"The Kynareth hear your Voice, and her Champion journey beyond space and time to lend aid."
Words of Power:
Kaan (Kyne) - calls Spriggan/Ice Wraith.
Kaal (Champion) - calls Spriggan Matron/Burnt Spriggan.
Zoor (Legend) - calls Spriggan Earth Mother/Wispmother.
Requirements for this Shout:
I. Kyne's Token. You need to finish the Kyne's Sacred Trials Quest to obtain the Kyne's Token. You need to be powerful enough to defeat a mammoth-ghost. Without Token in inventory you can not call Champions.
II. For (II) and (III) Tiers of Shout you need Briarheart's hearts.
The concept is simple:
When you destroy undead creature that was created by corruption of Nature and take the Briarheart, you show, that you protect Nature from evil and corruption. 5 and more Briarhearts in your inventory allows you to call Spriggan Matron or Burnt Spriggan, 10 and more, allows you to call Earth Mother and Wispmother.
III. The shout is located in high level Nordic ruin dungeon. So, you need to be able to survive in there.
IV. Special weather for Burnt Spriggan, Ice Wraith and for the Wispmother.
You can call Burnt Spriggan only when weather in the state of the Ash storm (DLC02VolcanicAshStorm);
You can call Wispmother and Ice Wraith only when weather in the state of the Storm snow (SkyrimStormSnow).
Now, about the Kyne's Token.
This mod makes the Kyne's Token to be a true Aedric Artifact, the Gift of Kynareth. Has unique enchantment. Resembling enchantment on The Boots of the Crusader (also known as the Boots of Kynareth) that were created by Kynareth. Charms nearby animals and Kyne's manifestations when equipped. They will come to fight against any enemies if you need help. You will hear a pleasant sound effect, when animal/manifestation nearby will be charmed. Makes Restoration spells cost 20% less to cast. Enhances movement speed. Goddess of the Winds and Patron of Travelers grants you her Blessed Swiftness.
Weight of the amulet decreased. Value of the Artifact increased.
If you are Vampire, the undead creature, do not try to equip the Relic. Light of The Sky Goddess will annihilate any undead who will dare to touch one of her Relics.
