Her is her description for it: No simple peice of forgery but a living being. A living being, when presented with flesh and blood wil begin to gorge itself, slowly attaching to whatever it can. If it is allowed enough time, then nothing will be able to remove the blade; no amount of strength or surgical procedures could take it out. As it remains in the host, the blade will slowly gorge itself on the host's blood and flesh; slowly killing the host from the inside out. Once the host dies, the blade will separate from the rotting corpse and lie in wait for a new host to make a fatal mistake. Thus the blade can easily live for hundreds of years, each host adding to its life. A never-ending being that feels no remorse, no need for sleep, and no pain.
