Keep in mind that some mods that include content by other authors may or may not require their permission. Also consider that uploading new versions of any mod will probably imbue you with plenty of support requests from the community, and handling them can be a large responsibility.

Hi there! Do you mean that you literally just downloaded this mod without the BSA file and it worked in SSE? I tried that and it didn't seem to do anything. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I don't know anything about porting mods.
Incredibly, it worked for me too, even on Anniversary Edition 1.6.640! As said, copying over the .esp and loose scripts (everything but the .bsa) is what worked.
Very nice mod. Now you can resist arrest without getting killed for it. I also like the option of being sent directly to jail. Because you were just knocked out for resisting arrest, nobody is going to ask what you want after that. You made your choice when resisting.
Not tested, by the mod should be ported easily by yourself. It is a pure scripted mod. Try with the loose files, not the bsa, update the ESP in CK and test it ingame.

i used Mod Organizer 2
1. Invulnerability after knockout cannot be disabled (the MCM option does not work. only applies a ghost effect if toggled)
2. sometimes player reaches 0 health but keeps fighting.
3. some spells seem to interfere with knockout. they affect player health but virtually make him invulernable that way (enemey spells)
Sadly, this combined with often big problems with ragdoll effect make the mod unuseable at the moment :(
When it works its absolutly gread and the concept is awesome. But the bugs make it unbearable for me *cry*
