Uploaded fixed version of the installer for people who had trouble with it on NMM/MO
ServantOfSin took some time out of his day to fix the installer. So again, a big thanks to him for helping out
Nov. 21:
New Installer Version available for more convenience during installation. Allows you to choose each option directly during installing!
BIG Thank You to ServantOfSin for helping with the installer, the installer is all his work
Nov. 4:
Version 1.1:
A lot of people didn't like the jumping at the end of the master spell (me included, especially after someone told me it looks like a cheerleader.... :/) So now there are no more jumping jacks at the end of the animation & 2 different beginnings and endings to the master spell animation. This means there are 4 different options for you to choose from, for each combination of the 2 beginning and ending animations. Option A - Beginning animation from 1.02 (feminine) + a less goofy looking floating ending Option B - Same feminine start as A + new more neutral / male oriented ending (big thank you to 'AfroGamerNinja' for the inspiration Option C - New more male oriented beginning (sort of flexing) + same ending from C Option D - The new beginning from C and the new ending from A, for the people who wanna mix these 2
My description is probably not very good, so I put a new video in the description for the updated master spells! Check it out

For the people who had issues with not being able to attack/cast spells after switching spells.
Yes but you have to convert it with Cathedral Assets and then put it on a folder with OAR/DAR conditions. It's super easy so you should try it. The animations are 100% worth it. In my opinion the best casting animations I've tried so far and I've tried all that are available on nexus lol Pair with YY Mystic Knight cuz the movement (and the idle if you don't like the Magiska one) animations blend very nice.
Want more? add onto the mixture Smooth Dynamic Random Spell Idle and turn on/off with OAR some of the random idles for the Right Hand so they don't override the YY Mystic Knight Idle while the animations will keep playing on the left hand. It's perfect.
Can confirm that using Cathedral Assets Optimizer works perfectly on this. I even managed to use Magiska (and another great animation mod) in a personal version for OAR (that I cannot release for permissions reasons) to make each of the ritual school types use a unique animation. Thank you, famousgizmo for the suggestion.
If I install this with the PCEA2 option, do I need to tick the PCEA2 box in MCM?
Asking this because I noticed this mod creates a lot more hkx files when installing without the PCEA2 option, which makes it seem like you need the PCEA2 box ticked for the full experience.. Can anyone confirm this?
..does that mean you installed it like I did, two different options and tried both activating it or not with the same results?
PCEA2 states it has 'integrated' this mod, but this mod states 'PCEA2 does not allow master spell animations', so you have to install it separately (hence the fewer files when installing with PCEA2 option)
IMPORTANT: Checking the box will install the base animations for all NPC's and the player. If you're using PCEA2 and want these animations only for the player, then DO NOT check this box.PCEA2 doesn't handle master spells, so select a master spell from below.
Only if you are using pcea2 you check it and that you want the only animation for yourself (your character)
The results are the same but only difference is that in one option its only for the player (you) and other option is for all (you and npc's)
If I install this with the PCEA2 option, do I need to tick the PCEA2 box in MCM?
..wasn't that my question in the first place?
So basically you need to activate Magiska in PCEA2's MCM menu to get all spell animations from the Magiska mod if you installed Magiska with the PCEA2 option (as in not ticking the box in the installer).
I did read the part you quoted when installing this mod, but it doesn't say you need to activate the rest of the spell animations through PCEA2's MCM menu. That had me confused, since installing it this way (box unticked) only installed a few animations.
(I always check what a mod installs, before even launching the game with a new mod)
1) Manually download this mod 2) Download Cathedral Assets Optimizer 2) Unpack mod onto desktop 3) Use CAO to optimize the animations A) Click on Open Directory and choose the folder that was unpacked onto the desktop B) Click Run 4) Compress the folder and add it to your mod manager. I use Vortex, so I just drag and drop. 5) Enable 6) Profit 7) Be sure to endorse the mod cause it's the best magic animations on LE/SE
Would be nice if the animations were already optimized for SSE, but easy enough to do by yourself too, and Mod authors are real people with real lives so... Great Mod Supertin.
"I am hoping to have magic animations for my Skyrim Special Edition, can someone please share this mod for SE?" Google translate, (giggle). download Cathedral Assets Optimizer it is very easy to convert.

SE user here;
Any chance you will be adding a SE version of this?
It looks like a cool mod and I would love to give it a go!
