Immersive Weapons is a great mod, don't get me wrong. But some of the weapons in it look ugly, weird or downright ridiculous (I'm looking at you, Splitter). This aims to fix that by replacing them with better weapons. This mod is just for my personal taste, I mean no offense to the original creators of those weapons.




Requires installing Immersive Weapons (obviously) and needs the "ImmersiveWeapons.esp" file active.
It is VERY important to follow the installation instructions below.

Installation:

1. Download BSAopt 1.6.3  if you don't have it.
2. Download JaySuS Swords, InsanitySorrow's Stamford, kimono's Witcher Silver Sword, and Yogensya's Hadhafang manually or with NMM.
3. Extract everything in a new folder called "IWR"
4. Open BSAopt, select Jswords.bsa in the first button that says browse and select the output folder (The "IWR" folder) in the second browse button. Then, select the meshes and textures folders in the folder tree and click the unpack button.**
5. Open BSAopt, select Yogweapons.bsa in the first button that says browse and select the output folder (The "IWR" folder) in the second browse button. Then, select the meshes and textures folders in the folder tree and click the unpack button.
6. Copy ONLY JUST the "Meshes" and "Textures" folders from the "IWR" folder and paste them in your Skyrim "Data" folder. Delete the empty "IWR" folder if you want afterwards.
7. Install this mod with NMM (or by pasting its contents in your Data folder and then activating IWReplacer.esp)
8. Enjoy!


** Installation note:
If you have already unpacked JaySus Swords to use those assets with Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade, you do not need to unpack that bsa file again. Otherwise it will ask you to overwrite files when you do step 6, but it's fine.



Updating:

From 1.05 to 1.1:
1) Download Yogensya's Hadhafang, unpack "Yogweapons.bsa" with BSAopt, drop just the "meshes" and "textures" in your Data folder.
2) Download InsanitySorrow's Stamford, unpack and drop just the "meshes" and "textures" in your Data folder.

-Replaced EtchelionOTW's Hadhafang requirement for Yogensya's, because it has better cubemaps. Changed InsanitySorrow's Thegn for his Stamford sword because of the Thegn mod was hidden. Changed MAIBATSU's Brug Hild for Billyro's Sunbeam to ease the installation process and to have a DSR model, and because it looks cooler. Added an optional file to make the Hadhafang a more lore-friendly color, a moonstone yellow tint.
