INTRODUCTION

Tomato plants need warm climate to grow, as well as apple trees, so I understand why in Skyrim we can see only imported tomatoes and apples. But to me seemed an oddity that you can't see carrot plants all around Skyrim, while you can have them on your Hearthfire open garden. So you are the only strange people in all Skyrim who can have carrot plants on his farm.

Carrot plants were introduced by Hearthfire, so they show HF behaviour: you can get 4 carrots from them, then after 3 days they will regrow. But HF did
not introduce normal carrot plants with normal behaviour, so if you want to put HF carrot plants somewhere in the wilderness/villages, you can't get them work properly like the other plants (you will get 4 carrots instead of 1, and the respawning way is also different). This would lead to a sort of immersion breaking.

This mod helps to fix this lack.

REQUIREMENTS
* Skyrim, last official patch
* Hearthfire

Flora Respawn Fix is required for the specific version of this mod that makes use of the FloraRespawnFix script (see "Miscellaneous" files).
Wiseman303's Flora Fixes is required for the specific version of this mod that makes use of the WM303's Flora Fixes script (see "Miscellaneous" files).

WHAT IS NEW?
This mod adds normal carrot plants all around Skyrim. Their behaviour is the same of normal cabbage, leek, potatoes and other flora, so when you harvest them, you will get only 1 sample of carrot (2 samples when "Green thumb"perk is unlocked). A total of 126 carrot plants have been placed near farms and villages:

* Chillfurrow Farm
* Darkwater Crossing
* Dragon Bridge (near Lylvieve Family's House)
* Falkreath (near Corpselight Farm)
* Ivarstead (near Fellstar Farm)
* Kynesgrove
* Markhart exterior (near Salvius Farm)
* Riften exterior (near Merryfair Farm)
* Riverwood (near Faendal's House)
* Rorikstead (near Cowflop Farmhouse)
* Solitude exterior (near Katla's Farm)
* Solitude Sawmill
* Whiterun exterior (near Pelagia Farm).

NOTE: For peoples using Flora Respawn Fix, there is a version that redirects the carrot plant TREE record to the FloraRespawnScript, so all the new carrot plants will work exactly as intended by FRF's author. So, if you are using FRF, use the dedicated version instead. You can find this version under "Miscellaneous" section.
NOTE: For peoples using Wiseman303's Flora Fixes, there is a version that redirects the carrot plant TREE record to the Wiseman303's Flora Fixes Script, so all the new carrot plants will work exactly as intended by WMFF's author. So, if you are using WMFF, use the dedicated version instead. You can find this version under "Miscellaneous" section.

INSTALLATION
* Make a strong back-up save (this is always true before trying new mods);
* Drag and drop the .ESP file into Skyrim's Data folder, or let it manage by your Mod Manager, if you have any.

UNINSTALLATION
* Delete the .ESP file in Skyrim's Data folder, or let it manage by your Mod Manager, if you have any.

I strongly suggest you to use ModOrganizer, so you can easily manage this (and similar) mod.

COMPATIBILITY
This mod shouldn't have compatibility issues with (almost) any other mod. Some clipping may occur with mods that add/move objects on these areas
(ETaC, and so on). No patch will be released for them: you can just select the clipping plants ingame by console and type "disable".

TES5Edit cleaned.

FAQ
Q: Why do you require Hearthfire? Is it impossible to have this working without HF?
A: Meshes for this plant belong to Hearthfire. I can't simply extract and put the meshes on a new .BSA: although this is technically possible (this was my first idea), it will result in a form of breaking off the EULA. We shouldn't extract resources from a DLC and re-use them in a mod that doesn't require the same DLC. May be in future I will learn to create new meshes, but this is not the time.

Q: I'm using a mod that adds/moves this and that to farms/villages, so the carrot plants are unreachable/clipped. Can you make a patch for this?
A: No, sorry, no patches will be available for any other mod, since there are really too many mods that can alter any places of Skyrim, and since this issue is not a big deal: if you see a clipping plant, just disable it by console.
