Now this is an enb that is worth puttin' in. I mean this actually does what an enb is supposed to! My what a spectacle! It really is a good mod my friend, and it actually goes good with CoT!
that is a problem with windows 10 i got it on one of my laptop when i tried to run skyrim...reason is i'm using recent enb d3d9.dll, you can try to use a d3d9.dll older but with same function of v0.279, or reinstall the d3d11.dll on ur pc (directx11 should be the problem ), unfortunatly it's a problem that may happen with windows 10
I don't think the enb is the problem, because realvision and vividian use 0.279 and they work. I have googled dx11,but didn't find a way to reinstall it, do you maybe know how.?
i've found this one, suggestion is to reinstall directx 11, from the site (microsoft site would be trustful i guess) , don't download any DLL that you can find online, just follow the suggestion to go from Microsoft page (there's also a link related to wind10), i hope it can be help!! http://steamcommunity.com/app/107410/discussions/0/828934424262753040/?l=romanian
I'm getting the same problem, worse now I can't launch the game with SKSE no matter what I do, and the ENB I was using before won't work either. What do?
Its a common problem with windows10 ,there's a voice to rename dxgi.dll as dxgi.dll.bat or reinstall the directx 11, if you google it you should find the solution
Having a great deal of difficulty figuring out how to install directx11 on a win10 machine. Using dxdiag -- I see the version on the computer is dx12. Any of the links I hit just take me to the general windows 10 updgrade page, or using dxwebsetup, it just says everything is upto date and won't give me a choice to install dx11. Help -- would really like to try this enb.
Fantastic job! Tried it with CoT V, which works but with some funny effects. I just walked through a wood with snow white trees, heavy snow on each branch, but it was raining cats and dogs and not a single snowflake on the ground
Using ELFX and found the faces much too bright near fireplaces indoor, all in all bodies a little bit too bright in the sun but trhe shadows during strong daylight outside too dark. Suggestions where to start fine tuning?
I think i should go back to resolve some issues with CoT V, when i did this preset i was working it with CoT3 so probably something has changed in CoT, Actually i'm working on a new preset that would be hopefully ready for the end of this month, so after that i can go back to check the CoT version for Realistika,anyway if you want to try, in the enbseries.ini you can low down the directlighting curve to solve the problem of the sun too bright on skin, and gain a little more of the ambientlight to have less shadows,do you know how to do it in game?!
Yes, i know, but since there are so many lighting options I better ask where to start instead of trying here and there and perhaps change something that has effect to another daytime and so on... But while playin now for two days with my new settings I have to overthink my lighting mod combination. Sometimes there is a very unrealistic light (in case this is intentionally, to meet the shorter days in the north depending on the season, plese let me know. While writing I have this idea, I don't remember the current game season at the moment) Have a look to this image. Daytime is noon! http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/592680/?
It should be normal...but i dunno still the change with cot 5, so it can be that it depends also on weathers, was it foggy that moment? in Finland we have dark coming very soon can be that around 3pm we have totally dark, in game i don't think it was so low i put it around 18 , you can try to change it in the day/night time, i don't think it will harm in game :-)
Oh, I've been to Finland quite often, have friends there near Somero and my brother had a girlfriend from some village outside Helsingfors for some years. However, I played around with some settings and think it meets my taste now. I'll wait with CoT for now. If you find the time to look over it for v5 I'll try again using it, but for now there are more cons than pros to use it together. I have some problems with Face Light at the moment (swapped from Wearable Lanterns to Quick Light, now quick and face light provide no light to the environment). Either I solve it today or I have to start a new game. Then I will post some screenshots.
How about download and try it by yourself? It not only depends on your hardware but also the number of mods in your load order, which textures you're using and so on.
I always get bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 is not installed or you have several copies of this file. Something like that. And the lower part (below the horizon line) is black. http://i60.tinypic.com/mketd1.jpg
Read the read me file or description of the mod .... it means you have to go in ur skyrimprefers.ini ( normally is in mydocuments/mygames/Skyrim ) set this value: bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 must be set in SkyrimPrefs.ini file to make this mod work.
Skylighting to work correctly require rendering objects to shadow, so edit manually following lines in file SkyrimPrefs.ini: bTreesReceiveShadows=1 bDrawLandShadows=1 bShadowsOnGrass=1
Amazing ENB man, I especially love the lighting, I mean when I saw that awesome lighting in that Whiterun screenshot, I knew I had to get it! Keep it up mang!

I use windows 7
bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 must be set in SkyrimPrefs.ini file to make this mod work.
Skylighting to work correctly require rendering objects to shadow, so
edit manually following lines in file SkyrimPrefs.ini:
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
bShadowsOnGrass=1
remember to save
I have been once in Scandinavia and I can tell the light is right.
Keep it up mang!
