Speechless, absolutely speechless. I played this in VR, with VRIK and Higgs and a bunch of other stuff. Including, uh.. CBBE. Which I forgot I had installed... until I found Maise. I'll tell you, I wasn't expecting that. Everything from the first suicide note to finding out who was threatening one of the merchants to their eventual relationship after one of the endings was an emotional roller coaster and I've never gotten that out of a Skyrim quest. Not in the way this was presented.

I made several saves to go back and get all the endings. I don't think I left a single stone unturned. This was the best weekend I've had gaming in ages.

Single handedly the best quest line I've ever done in an RPG. And it was in VR!!! Thank you so much. <3

Do wish I could merry either the Jarl's 'daughter' or the bar maid though after wards lol.

Love this mod.  I'm happy it turned into it's own game!

Took me several iterations to figure out there was a 'good' ending, and even more to figure out there was a 'bad ending.'  I kept getting the 'meh' endings.  (And the bad ending discovery was an accident of negligence wherein I forgot I had force push equiped instead of whirlwind sprint.  Rarely has watching rag doll mechanics been so horrifying and simultaneously delightful!)
I still cannot figure out how to get every help quest done in one timeloop without violence (looking at you Rykas, and your refusal to let me give you better armor so I could take the Dwarven Curiass).  That, and the help quests wouldn't always fire properly in subsequent timeloops.
Regardless of those petty complaints, I loved it!

Tl;dr: This is simply amazing and should always be played. Of all the quests in Skyrim THIS is probably the most enjoyable. This puts the rest of the game to shame. Any major company would be making a mistake by not hiring the person behind. I've never commented on a mod, however this deserves so much more recognition than it currently gets.

    -Quality-

The voice acting is amazing. It isn't like other mods where you some characters completely break immersion (Looking at you Falskaar Jarl). Each character actually conveys a sense of emotion to what they are saying, which at no time feels forced. The ONLY problem I can find is the quality of some voices are off. While still beautiful it can sound as if it was recorded in a garage. I think it only happens a handful of times through the entire quest, even then the world is crafted so beautifully that you'll forget about the issues within 4 seconds.

Bugs were non-existent for me, however it seems others have reported some. I cant really say much about this topic other than good job to the dev.

    -Content-

Hours of epicness. I've seen some people claim they blazed through this thing within three hours and I truly feel that is a shame. Each location in this small "city" is so rich with story/content that I probably spent a good 8-10 hours in this mod. If you do happen to play this then for the love of Xenu, take your time...wine and dine it...get to know it before finishing it off. Underwater dungeons, good puzzles, elaborate stories (more than 1), and an actual thought out world are what make this shine.

    -The world-

Ehmagurd! I swear this thing was built with love from start to finish. At no point, unlike a few other mods of this type, did I think "Well that was just lazy." The background given in this to build the world is simply incredible. I dont feel that it breaks from lore at anypoint as most of it is self contained. Even when given a MASSIVE opportunity at the "end" to break lore and give long time fans an explanation as to what happened to our favorite race of tech gurus the answer is pretty much "No" which I loved. There were no loose ends and everything gets wrapped up nice and neat in a fancy bow.
Every part of this I love. The town layout makes sense, the dungeons are fun and well planned, the quests...you seriously cannot do better. You have the basic "Go here, get me this, you got the bad ending" and then you have the "Figure out how to get here, get lost in the story, read all the things, figure out more on your own, win like a boss."

-Lastly! How I played/basic walk though-
Kicked the ass of ghost whats his face on arrival and found the key, looted all the notes and books in the citadel because i have serious hoarding issues (Thank you Legacy of the dragonborn). After some heavy reading I went to the shack and took a trip back in time. Spent a few hours talking to folks and just basically getting lost in their stories. Gave a woman some Skooma in hopes to help my drug trade expand, didn't work. Tried to go underground and found boots, followed that quest and thats when I started playing with the system. I needed that chest plate and homeboy with some serious identity issues wouldn't give it up, so I went to his house while he was asleep, woke him up, killed him like cattle on a farm, stole what I needed and restarted the story. After getting all the pieces I took a trip down to the tunnels (did the underwater bit, scored a cool helmet that lets me breathe underwater, offed some creepy dudes, had my "oh-s#*! moment" when the journal in the palace said to look behind me, and found out the Jarl and I share in some pretty interesting kinks before doing the underground part.). I met with the big bad guy and he pretty much went on a tangent about how I am not really that nice of a guy...cool story bro, now die. Stole his stuff, went back in time, showed him his stuff and the world was saved!

    10/10.
Would leave a woman chained up again.

That was an amazing end to your write up!
I really struggled with that choice.  I'm the kind of person who would sink the lifeboat helping people aboard in the 'lifeboat economics' 'conundrum.'

I love how this is so far, though I need to reload to re-complete the quest.
Like I accidentally completed, I go to the past and meet the Jarl and we are having the whole exchange about how I need to investigate and figure out how to prevent the events that will occur...... Now during this he was bugged? slightly or one of my followers did it via collision box? He got pushed back onto the ledge and when I finally finished my convo with him.... he just falls off the ledge.... and I'm blasted back to the future/present and the quest is completed.
So yeah uh very strange event, but I am loving this quest so far can't wait to try again after a reload lol

I was so impressed by the story of this mod. In vanilla you travel to a city, meet someone, go on a fetch quest for them, clear a dungeon, return to them, then get 750 for your troubles. After that you travel to another city, meet a new person, then the exact flippin story plays out over and over again just with different characters in different cities. This story was such a retreat from Bethesdas copy and paste style story. I have been playing Skyrim for a year straight with many quest mods but for the first time I knew I was experiencing something of the caliber of Hollywood while reading a journal telling me "p.s. look behind you".

My kids had me take off the headphones so they could listen in as the mystery plot unfolded. They were watching intently to see what I would uncover next. We were all shocked to see the wife as a hostage in the Jarl's court when we had clearly collected her belongings from what we thought were he remains.

It took me a couple times of being a sneak thief in chests and kept loading my save to realize I couldn't do that. Once I took the guy to the tunnels and killed him setting the alarm off I realized I was in a Groundhog day loop. What a shock that was. I finally realized that once the law is broken and the centuries start killing that I had free rain to do what I want. I quickly snuck around the entire map killing people and taking their keys. I then spent time going back to all of their rooms and opening their chests. I was hoping I would find other clues or ways to fix things. I guess it was just a bit more loot. Overall the mod does not make you OP with exaggerated weapons or items to sell for huge dollar amounts.

I'm still confused why going in the tunnels to kill the guard caused the alarm to sound. I guess I believed the Jarl's words. If I had it to do over again Id like to make the guard follow me to the Jarl's secret room to see if I can kill him in there and be ok. I couldn't believe it when I was standing in front of the end boss wanting to rat out the Jarl and the option came up for me to say I was at fault, I broke the law. I couldn't believe how the Jarl had tricked me into being the one at fault.

I ignored the authors advice to not bring followers. I brought 2 wives and one girlfriend Aela, Lydia, and Frea. They worked fine and there were no issues except for the end. You cannot take them with you into the arbitrarium at the end. After you defeat the biss They will get stuck. I confirmed this by console cammand player.moveto. They were in there and the door is locked I command unlock but it doesn't load a new cell when you open the door. I think because the arbitrarium no longer exists.

my biggest issue with this mod and believe me it's minuscule compared to my issues with Bethesda was that the NPCs who owned shops seem like they spent so little time in their shop making it hard to get back to them to speak with them. I also found that these same NPCs after work hours did not go to their house. Only a few would go to their house. I hoped to find them at the local in and they weren't there either some where but not all. That made things a little tough. In the grand scheme of things that's pretty small.

    > If you're here expecting some quest mods that shows how strong is your Dragonborn, it's probably not for you.
    > But if you're here to read/enjoy/watch the story, like you're the person who enjoy VN (Visual Novel) type of game, this is a perfect mod for you.

Which kind of person am I? The first one.
Generally I like instant action mod, and not much care about the story. But it's one of the most endorsed mod in quest and adventure tag in nexus (as well as people recommend it on reddit), so I gave it a try. I'd say this quest mod did a good job on the thing they advertised. The story is kinda mind blown with the time paradox. If you got the true ending, you may feel a little bit sentimental on the NPCs, moreover if you tried to talk to every of them and understand their background. The true epilogue is EXACTLY the type of ending I like. I'd give two thumbs on the epilogue only.

However, it doesn't come with no flaws.
As a milk drinker who prefer everything guided, the no mark quest kinda drives me crazy. I didn't know where to start, I didn't know who to talk, I didn't know who is this person. Absolutely no quest marker. Although it DID promote me to explore the city content and try everything. However, since I'm suck at deducting (I actually hate detective case story that makes me think who is the culprit based on evidence or so), I often stumbled upon a brick wall. Tried here, and there and found a disappointment. It gets even worse when the map is TOO BIG for me to walk (especially citadel) just to find nothing on NPC. Talking about NPC, they also don't have marker which makes it really harder to track down (maybe I was tracking down less important NPC anyway).

The early game was so good because everything set in motion so I could enjoy the story, until I needed to solve the puzzles. I spent hours trying to figure it out, and loses why I was here. I almost give up with the mod and wanna roll back to my save game before the mod was installed, but I looked at internet to peek at the walkthrough (this mod REALLY needs a walkthough tbh), and proceed again. I was excited when I could progress forward until I found out I only proress a little, then stuck on "infinite dwarven law loop". I tried everything to keep the mod to be played as intended, but no afail (granted, the loop might be caused by my bloated save game, but I don't want to go back on new playthrough to try this mod). I finally tried the last resort of using "cheat" from console and other mods, so I managed to proceed on to the Arbiter and settled all the things.

    Final score?
Probably around 6 or 7 out of 10.
If I got a smoother experience, it could even higher.

But how about the story itself?
I'd be lying if I don't say GREAT. I can see why this one won an award. I just wish I could enjoy it without me walking around the city (and citadel). Like I wish I was watching a movie instead, because it's Skyrim, I want to take a bit more action too rather than walking around here to talk to people all time. If you don't bother with that, it's a mod for you.

    P.S: I like the Soundtrack :)

Its 2018 and I just finished this Quest mod for the first time. The feeling of exhilaration after you finish it. Just WOW. Many quests don't even have this level of detail and thought to their story..and every npc in there has excellent voice acting. This is one of the few quest mods out there really shines. The story. GOSH DANG BRILLIANT. I like that Necromancer twist too. "PS: LOOK BEHIND YOU" and I got jumpscared. I like the attention to detail..anyone noticed the INN changed its name to the Golden Sentinel? :)

I've never left a comment about any mod before, but after finishing this quest, I couldn't help but share how awesome this mod is. The quest is engaging and well thought out. At no point in time in the quest did I ever feel like I was being railroaded into a linear progression of events, which truly is a breath of fresh air. I love the fact that there are multiple endings since it means that our choices matter and we're not just playing through a movie like most quests in skyrim end up being. In the end, I managed to find at least 2 of the endings: the "kill the jarl (via Ulrin and via Maisi)" ending and the "end the dwarves' law" ending, and I guess my only criticism is that after the good ending, speaking with the people that the player saved tells us that they saw the player come out of the lake house wearing dwarven armor before charging straight into the catacombs. However, when speaking to the new jarl, we learn that they've kept the player's chambers the way we left it, which is a contradiction. That said, noticing this didn't detract from my experience whatsoever, and I'd still readily recommend this mod.

I've never commented on any mods before, but for this one, I HAD to. This masterpiece of a quest mod is not only one of the best quest mod I've played, but captivating, inspiring, and immersing me more than any vanilla Skyrim quest has done this far.

Every location is so excellently put together, and made me genuinely want to explore everything there is to be explored. Each character feels like an unique individual, each with incredible depth, making you really have feelings for the character, love or hate. This mod really leaves absolutely everything up to you, and leaves you to do the thinking, which I absolutely loved about this. It isn't some fetch quest "go to X location" sort of deal. The quest tells you only what you need to know, and you work out the rest - which played a huge part in finding myself immersed in this mod. I needed to know this world in order for me to progress, and getting to know the world was an adventure in itself. The voice actors in this quest were also fantastic, but the one single thing that irked me about this mod was the actual audio quality of the voices. But the acting itself more than made up for it.

I have finished the quest, yet I still feel like there was so much more yet to explore. Unlike any other quest in the game, I really did not want to finish this one until I have left no stone unturned, because they did not leave out any detail in this mod.

Incredible experience, start to finish. Wish I could go back and play it all again. Maybe I will. Thanks
