Thank you in advance for any support and feedback. I also encourage screenshots as it helps a lot to see how she looks in other games to see how I can improve her. I would also recommended checking out BowmoreLover's Japanese translation as it includes Japanese audio files which can be used with either English or Japanese subtitles. Link and video in the description. ------------------------------------------------------------
New in version 2.3: Upgrading from previous versions WILL require a clean save. Meaning: 1. Dismiss her if she is your follower and save the game. 2. Uninstall the mod, load your save and save the game again. 2.5. (Save cleaner is recommended but isn't necessarily essential.) 3. Install update and play.
Other Notes: Conversations with Ciri won't work unless you have version 2.4 of Ciri installed. Yennefer's animations require FNIS to be run. Big thanks to Borgut1337 for helping me set it up. I recommend everyone check out his Deadly Combat mod.
As of version 2.2, SkyUI is a soft requirement for this mod. It will still work without it, but you won't have access to any of the settings typically found in the MCM without typing in console commands.
The head was sculpted by hand in a 3d modelling program. I did not use RaceMenu sliders, it is not a port from the Witcher Games. This isn't really important to your experience, the misconception is just annoying.
Since the original release of the mod and especially lately, I've been asked a large number of questions in both PMs and comments basically amounting to how to take the follower's clothes off.
My official stance is and remains that that is not a feature of this mod, both as a personal preference to me but also as part of the arrangement I made with CDPR when they gave me permission to use their assets. I cannot and will not write out a detailed instruction on how to make her walk around naked, be compatible with adult mods or anything else that would, on my part, officially support or condone that type of use.
As it says in the description: If you want to replace her naked body mesh with UNP / a different body type, or any other mesh you wanted (hint, frickin' hint), either you unpack the BSA and replace the existing meshes or you make a folder in the (Data\meshes\actors\character\Yennefer) and drop your new meshes in there.
I don't care how you play the game. Your personal mod setup is none of my business. Don't make it my business.
Levionte, I ported the latest Oldrim version to SSE and she works great after running her through Cathedral Asset Optimizer, but when I open the mod in the Creation Kit to save it (to change to form 44) she loses her unique voice, and there is no option in the CK to add a _Yennefer voice like there is with the Ciri mod. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
In case anyone is still wondering, this likely happens because the voice type records that the mod was injecting into Update.esm were "taken" by that plugin in SSE - CK64 will detect the override with a different record type, which is game breaking, and simply remove the record when saving.
If you change the record number for Yen's voice type to anything that isn't overriding an actual Update.esm record - in the latest version, using xEdit - and allow all references to update, then load the plugin in CK64 and save, you'll have a clean port with no errors and working voice.
She is an amazing follower and works great with her special abilities! I put the lightdetection on 0 in the mcm, so she will not constantly spam her magelight anymore. Now she does not use it anymore unless its pitch black. Thanks for this mod!
Yeah. I have searched everywhere and there is no folder at the directory you listed. The only Ciri and Yennefer folders seem to be in Meshes > Actors > Character > Animations. So I have no clue where to put the CBB files. :-\

Would love to have a standalone mod of her horse or even a reskin for Skyrim vanilla.
