My mod is based on the classic version and offers several advantages such as:
DESCRIPTION:
I created this because I felt Purity's weather was too bright at night and I wanted a more realistic experience. Woodlands get quite dark at night where I live, especially when when the sky is overcast, and I wished to visualize that in game. So I modified Purity's imagespace values and was able to reduce light level without destroying or diminishing any colors. Although I prefer the 50% darker setting, your gaming environment may be different from mine and I wanted to include options that work for everyone. Choices include 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, or 70% darker. I hope you enjoy this mod as much as I do!
This is safe to use alongside your favorite interior lighting mod. Be sure to load both Purity and my mod somewhere underneath it in your load order.
Note to ENB users: Some presets already make nights very dark. For players who like it even darker, my mod will work fine alongside an ENB. But I recommend first checking your ENB's description page for instructions on how to adjust its exterior night settings. You may find that my mod is not needed if you're able to adjust your preset to match your preference.

- Improved darkness level scaling (brighter weathers are reduced more than ones that are already pretty dark)
- Torches and other light sources will maintain their full color vibrancy
