This is just a small patch for Empowered Magic by leasm that removes the requirement of filled soul gems for casting Transmute Ore. I like the mod, but I found the Transmute Ore spell to be pretty useless, as the soul gems it consumed were more valuable than the ore created.
This mod just does two things:
That's it! I created this mod for my own use, and have published it in the hopes that someone else finds it useful. As such, I haven't done much testing for compatibility, but it only modifies the single spell so I don't expect any trouble.
YOU MUST INSTALL THE ORIGINAL MOD, and then add this to your load order AFTER Empowered Magic.
This mod just does two things:
- Soul gems are no longer required to cast Transmute Ore, and no soul gems are consumed in the process.
- The speed of the spell is doubled, converting one ore chunk per second instead of one every two seconds.
That's it! I created this mod for my own use, and have published it in the hopes that someone else finds it useful. As such, I haven't done much testing for compatibility, but it only modifies the single spell so I don't expect any trouble.
