    This is useful for me because I'm pretty sure reading the Elder Scroll broke a lot of my mods and I don't know how to get them back.

    At least it won't happen again.

    Anyone know any other parts in the game where this happens which I can avoid?

      It broke them in what way? The scrolls just remove certain magic effects, like shrine blessings and conjurations.
