    CACO Compatibility Overview:
The following is a list of mods that have been reported as compatible or not compatible with Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul.

    Not Compatible without patch:
    - Harvest Overhaul is not compatible as it has been integrated into CACO.
    - Living Takes Time - not compatible with the Hunger and Fatigue features of CACO. There are also incompatibilities with CACO's cooking system. There does not appear to be any way to fix this without editing LTT's scripts. There is a long discussion of these issues under CACO's bug tab (marked as 'Not a bug' )
    - Sacrosanct - Depending on which mod is loaded last, that mod will break certain functions from the other mod. If you load Sacrosant after CACO, then CACO's Damage Undead poisons won't work on vampires. If you load CACO after Sacrosant, then vampires won't have disease resistance. Pick your poison.

    - Mods that add new alchemy ingredients or change the vanilla alchemy effects, such as:
    - 101 Bugs - CACO already adds more new insects than this mod, so patching this mod is a low priority.
    - Improved Fish - CACO already adds new pond fish and future versions will hopefully include some of the wonderful larger fish models from this mod.

    - Mods that alter the Alchemy perks and/or perk tree, such as:
    - Ordinator - Patches are available here and here.
    - PerMa - a patch is available here
    - Requiem - a patch is available here
    - SkyRe - Let CACO override SkyRe_Main. If you run the ReProccer, then ingredients and potions will be a mess. - No idea if patchable.
    - SPERG - a patch is available here

    Partially Compatible:
    - Mods that change the vanilla food items or add new food items may introduce inconsistencies, but other than the possible imbalances, they are probably okay to use with CACO.
    - Mods that add or change cooking recipes. If cooking recipes use Salt Pile, Sack of Flour, or Wine, then you can still create those recipes by enabling the "Recombine Cooking Portions" option in CACO's Mod Configuration Menu.
    - Mods that use certain vanilla items such as horker tusks, soul husks, bone hawk claws, or human flesh. If other mods use the vanilla version of these items in a crafting recipe or as quest requirement, then you can convert the CACO item back into it's vanilla equivalent by enabling the " Disable Item Swapping" box in the MCM.

    Fully Compatible:
    - Campfire - campfire recipes will automatically adjust for consistency with CACO. New campfire recipes have been added.
    - Even Better Quest Objectives - just make sure to load CACO after EBQO.
    - Frostfall - new soups, stews and hot drinks added by CACO will provide warmth.
    - iNeed** - however, the Dangerous Diseases optional file is not compatible with CACO,though a patch is available here.

    **Additional Compatibility Notes:
    - iNeed - It is recommended that you disable iNeed's option to alter the weight of food, as this can conflict with the changes made by CACO and result in some odd weight values. Also, iNeed's degradation system isn't recognized by CACO's food portion system, which results in some slight inconsistencies. For example, if you eat a loaf of bread which is considered stale by I-Need, the second half of the loaf is returned to your inventory as if it were a fresh piece of bread.

    Additional Patches for CACO:
There is a collection of patches available on the CACO download page. However, a number of modders have also created patches for CACO and various other mods. These additional patches can be found on the following pages:

    - CACO STEP Patches - patch for Radiant and Unique Potions and Poisons, as well as several merged patches catering to STEP users.
    - More Patches for CACO - patches for Heart Breaker, Improved Artifacts, Vigor Combat and Injuries, Gehenoth, and more.
    - Imps and CACO patch - patch for Imps More Complex Needs
    - Extra CACO Compatibility Patches - includes patches for RND, ACE, Undeath, SkyBirds, Vigor Combat and Injuries and more
    - Realistic Need and Diseases Patch Project inc CACO - patch for RND
    - CACO - Flora Respawn Fix - patch for Flora Respawn Fix
    - CACO Soaps for Bathing in Skyrim - patch for Bathing in Skyrim
    - CACO Compatibility Patches - patch for No Starting Spells
    - CACO-Ordinatored - patch for Ordinator
    - CACO - Ordinator Perk Tree Patch - patch for Ordinator
    - CACO Compatibility Patches for SPERG - patch for SPERG
    - SPERG-Ordinator-CACO Patch

CACO uses Salt portions in it's recipes; when you use a Cooking Station, CACO divides the vanilla Salt Piles into these portions, and recombines them when you leave that menu. If you're using an unpatched mod that includes cooking recipes requiring Salt Piles, then you can still create those recipes by enabling the "Recombine Cooking Portions" option in CACO's Mod Configuration Menu.

There's a notable incompatibility with "Clean Up Your Corpses". Most of the recipes for accelerant don't work. Specifically it's the recipes using wines -- you can see them for a second when you open the cooking menu, but then they vanish. Disabling item swapping doesn't help.

Read the pinned post at the top:

'Mods that add or change cooking recipes. If cooking recipes use Salt Pile, Sack of Flour, or Wine, then you can still create those recipes by
enabling the "Recombine Cooking Portions" option in CACO's Mod Configuration Menu.'

Maybe I just didn't see it but the recombine option Isn't working for the sack of wheat flour and sack of barley flour. The recipe that calls for wheat flour isn't letting me use the sack of wheat flour and its not letting me divy it up for the recipe.  Any solutions?

I think CACO Soaps for Bathing in Skyrim is outdated since CACO 2.0 and should be replaced with this one:

CACO Soaps for Bathing in Skyrim Remade (with Optional Forbidden Prey support)

I say "I think" because I'm just going off what other commentors have said in various threads. But the issue with the old CACO Soaps for Bathing in Skyrim seems to be that some of the recipe requirements have changed so you can make soaps without any of the animal fats/tallows at all, so e.g. the Blue Floral Soap can be made with only 3 blue mountain flowers alone, and the Plain Soap can be made without any ingredients at all.

The Remade version seems to work perfectly, making all soaps require tallow instead (which also seems to mean you no longer need the BiS-Hunterborn patch from the main BiS mod, as I think all it did was make Hunterborn's animal fat usable for BiS soap crafting, which is no longer necessary if you're making tallow with CACO + the CACO Hunterborn patch. So you ONLY need the Forbidden Prey patch if you are actually using Forbidden Prey, not for Hunterborn alone).

However, on a side note, I've unticked the old CACO Soaps for Bathing in Skyrim in both the left and right panes of MO and I am still seeing a separate set of animal-productless soap recipes ingame alongside the correct ones from the Remade version — so I can create all soaps with tallow as intended, but I can also make it just from flowers or Plain Soap out of nothing, etc.. Silly me, I forgot to rebuild my Bashed Patch; it had those weird recipes in it!

Thanks for the heads up! I'm not able to edit the sticky post because it's kryptopyr's post, but I'll let her know and get her to update it the next time she logs in.

Would you hazard a guess on how much the SPERG compatibility patch is still compatible nowadays, please?
Thank you for sharing this amazing mod!

I's sure this has been requested before, and i apologize in advance if that is the case, but could somebody please make a comparability patch for this incredible mod and the Honeystrand Meadery mod? I really enjoy that our dragon born does not slam an entire bottle of wine at once with this mod, yet alcohols added by other mods do not have multiple servings
Colovian brandy has 16 servings, as if you actually take shots out of the flask, its so awesome and immersive! seeing that with other alcohols from other mods would be really fitting for an immersive play through.

On a side note, is there a way to accomplish this in tesedit? to edit alcohol from other mods and give them multiple servings like CACO does?

Hey I can't temper one of my pieces of armor because it requires human flesh to temper and this mod does not register raw hominid flesh as human flesh and its annoying me, you think you can make a patch to change it back to human flesh?

Hi, I don't mean to be rude or demanding, but could you please have a patch that would be compatible with "Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade"? The main reason is that most of the ingredients require Frostbite Venom. And in this mod, Frostbite venom is basically nonexistent.

Frostbite venom exists, to extract it you need a Anatomist perk
