SIMPLY GREAT!!! Wonderful! Amazing! Something like a Dream come true! I also appreciate you modification in the retexture...If I want to see 100% my style I obviously want to finsh it years ago! GREAT!
Hi first of all great mod! Love using it! Question can you please tell me if the robes in the picture section, the one with "Vigilant and Mage Overhaul" something like that is in the mod?? And if it is not can you tell me where you got them please? Thank you!!
EDIT: The amazing mod author Alexandriel sent me the link of the armor mod called VIGILANT: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67103/?tab=description Thank you again!
Hey, I love your mod and was just wondering if there are any plans to port it to SSE? If not I would be more than happy to try to port it myself and give it back to you to upload to com/skyrimspecialedition.
Hello, thank you. I am not interested in SSE and don't plan to have it in the near future, so, if you have one, and want to port this mod to it,- you can. I'll, then, make a page for SSE and put you in credits for SSE version.
Brilliant. I've finished porting it and packed it up into a .rar file. What's the best way to send it to you for upload?
Also, do you mind if I advertise it on r/skyrimmods for you? I feel like this mod is a little bit unknown (even in Oldrim) and the only alternative is Opulent Outfits which is way too over the top in my opinion. I really like the subtle and vanilla-esque style you've created.
Edit: Thank you for the participation. I've remembered that MOTO has no dependencies on any other mod, and can be used for SSE without conversion. ... Advertisement? Only if you want to. I don't have an account on reddit, and don't want to, so it's up to you, if you want. Thank you, I like this style too. It's not only my style, it's Rafuel's base, he is the original author, don't forget about him.
Would love to see this on SSE as well, came here to check. I can use this without going through the new CK? I tried it but it seems not to work correctly, the mages do not wear any shoes.
I tried it but it seems not to work correctly, the mages do not wear any shoes.
Interesting... This mod does not affect shoes in the esp, only the base vanilla texture of the shoes is touched (so you can consider it for shoes as it does not have and esp), so it can not be the cause of your problem.
I don't think this can be used without being properly converted as it has an esp...
What about facts? Maybe test this mod and look at the result. Edit: Version that matt__56 sent me was byte-to-byte identical, you can see this in the Tes5Edit. Mod is working on SSE. Version with .esp can't cause any problems. Also, you can download the version without an .esp.
Well I tested around a bit and Opulent outfits SSE works without issue (I do not like it though) this mod does not. Both supposedly do the same thing or am I mistaken? So there may be something in the old ESP format SSE does not like. AFAIK every mod has to go through the new CK to be compatible. @matt_56, maybe you can share your version privately? I have no idea how to do it.
Sorry, I KNOW this mod will not work properly because it has an esp. It may load in the game but it will cause problems down the line if it is not properly ported over. Texture mods only work right out of the box if it does not have an esp. So it would be helpful if you and matt__56 can release his ported version.
Open the CK, select File-> Data, double click the mod, click Set as Active File, and click OK. As it is loading, accept all the errors by clicking Yes to All. Once it is loaded, just select File->Save, then Exit.
The errors you see during loading are mostly from the Skyrim master files themselves, not from the mod. There is nothing to be gained by clicking through them all individually.
This work with pretty much every simple esp, but use a mod manager for be able to remove it if this do not work.
I ported it for myself and would port if I had Alexandriel's permission. To be honest I was hoping to find a compatibility patch for robed steel plate armor by madcat and or the mod that adds all the enchanted versions to match the vanilla robes and have not been able to. Does anybody know of one or would I have to make this myself? and if so, would I need to create a new armor add on for every robed armor tier/enchantment? Madcats mod relies on only 3 armor addons despite being dozens of tiered and enchanted armors added. If anybody could give me information it would be much appreciated.
Scratch that I think I know what I am doing, going to make a patch and run some tests and ask for permission to upload patch to skyrim nexus as well as upload this mod to SSE nexus without compatibility patch with robed steel plate armor (as that mod is not available for SSE although I wish the author would port it.)
Hello. Good work! I love it. If you can, I'll ask a little off topic. You have a hidden mod called "Claws Without Hints - Add-on For JS Dragons Claws".Will it ever appear in public access, and if so, how soon? Thanks in advance for the answer. Good luck!
Hello! I am sorry if this was already answered and I overlooked it, but: does this mod affect items such as green robes and Vaermina Robes? If not, does anyone know of another mod which retextures them in a similar way (Opulent Outfits is a bit too... opulent (read gaud) for my taste.
Hi Alexandriel ! I'm a french translator and I wanted to ask you if I can translate your mods and upload them on our website: https://www.confrerie-des-traducteurs.fr/skyrim

The SE version is just the revised esp. The original mod is still needed.
