it's working but weirdly, I need to aim lower than the enemy to hit them, like I aim their foot sometimes even lower their foots to shoot them to chestplate :/
The visible range of the arrow for this mod is VERY far, however, the effective range is really bad. If you shoot a target and are too far away the arrow will simply go right through them and have no effect. The effective range of the arrows needs to be adjusted so that the effective range is the same as the visual range.
I appreciate this is a year-old comment but just in case someone else comes looking for an answer... Try adding this to your skyrim.ini - not skyrimprefs just the skyrim.ini.
I appreciate this is a four month old comment, but instead of Skyrim.ini, I have Skyrim_default.ini and SkyrimEditor.ini. Which one do I add that line to?

could you add the DLC arrows to this mod like dragonbone arrows and the bolts cuz the crossbow is one of my most used weapons and the aiming is terrible with a crossbow. that would be much appreciated
