UPDATED 01/30
Added new version (1.1) which includes the color enhanced LOD files. Also added Red Roof only option which only includes the three red roof textures and one LOD file.
This is a fairly simple mod and it's not for everyone. I just got bored with how bland Whiterun looked and I spend a lot of time there so I decided to spice it up a bit. All I've done is increase the saturation and adjust the brightness/contrast on all the Whiterun textures. I also changed the roof shingle color to red for more visual appeal. You can tell by the images it does make quite a noticeable difference, however some of the interior textures may appear too bright or washed out. Try it out and see if you like it.
Adds/Replaces all 88 textures under
/skyrim/data/textures/architecture/whiterun
To uninstall remove the above folder.
