Snow Elf Arms and Armor updates the Ancient Falmer Armor and Weapons mod by Okralord for consistency and compatibility with Weapon and Armor Fixes Remade, Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade, and (optionally) Immersive Armors.
In order to craft the snow elf armor and weapons, you must first complete the Touching the Sky quest from the Dawnguard DLC. If you are using the Immersive Armors version of this mod (Snow Elf Arms and Amor v1.2 for Immersive Armors), this quest requirement can be disabled using the "Crafting without Questing" option in Immersive Armors' MCM.
Requirements
In suggested load order:
- Dawnguard
- Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade (not technically required, but without WAFR the changes to item names and statistics may not make sense)
- Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade (not technically required, but none of the CCOR-added crafting options will function without it)
- Immersive Armors (only required for Snow Elf Arms and Armor v1.2 for Immersive Armors)
- Ancient Falmer Armor and Weapons
Installation
- Download and install Ancient Falmer Armor and Weapons by Okralord.
- Download either of the Snow Elf Arms and Armor files, drag the contents into the Data folder, and overwrite AncientFalmer.esp when prompted.
Features
Snow Elf Arms and Armor Revised makes the following changes to the snow elf (ancient falmer) equipment added by Okralord's Ancient Falmer Armor and Weapons (including arrows, bow, helmet, katana, and shield).
- Item names have been changed from "Ancient Falmer" to "Snow Elf" to be consistent with WAFR naming conventions.
- Armor ratings, damage, critical damage, and values have all been adjusted to be consistent with those in WAFR.
- Fixed the Snow Elf Katana's bash sound.
- Fixed the female Snow Elf Helmet and Snow Elf Shield to use correct textures.
- Added appropriate CCOR conditions to all crafting recipes (including Artifact Replicas and, for the katana, Eastern-style Items).
- Added PRUFEI - Protection for Recipes Using Favorite and Equipped Items breakdown recipes.
- Immersive Armors version Only: Added functionality to disable quest requirements using Immersive Armors' "Crafting without Questing" MCM option.
Compatibility
Snow Elf Arms and Armor should be compatible with almost everything.
