Hello everybody! This little mod is a patch for the Legendary edition of Book Covers Skyrim by DanielCoffey that turns a lot of books into simple Speech skill books, similar to the original version of Read And Learn Speechcraft Speech by Dryblood.

The file has been cleaned with TES5EDIT, requires Book Covers Skyrim, Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn, and has no scripts, so it should be safe for everybody to use. Still, you should always make a backup save before installing ANY mod, in case something goes wrong.


== WHAT ==
As stated above, this small patch takes a bunch of books from the vanilla game and the DLC that I felt would work as Speech skill books (such as historical accounts, poems, and the like), and makes them raise Speech the first time they are read, just like the vanilla skill books. That is all. I know there is a patch for the scripted version of Read And Learn Speechcraft available here, but I always liked the simplicity of the script-free first release.

Because I wanted it in my own game, and figured I may as well share. Do I need another reason?


== HOW ==
To install, extract the contents of your downloaded file to your "Steam/SteamApps/Common/Skyrim/Data" folder. Then activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp. Or you can use your Mod Manager of choice to download the mod automatically. To uninstall, simply delete the files from your Data folder, and you're good to go. Have fun!
