Heads up, true believers. Vioxsis and I have a new version of the mod out that has twice as many swords and does a better job of populating the leveled lists. I had to recreate it from scratch to make use of the Dawnguard content (req'd to make Dragon Bone), so I made it a separate mod. This version will stay up though for those who don't have Dawnguard & Hearthfire

Heh... Steam users are actually starting to catch you guys here in terms of numbers. Tell your friends to use the mod, I'd hate to think Steam of all places had a more active user base, lol.
EDIT: Ooops, Nexus got schooled. 511 to 227 as of Aug 3. O_O
These are great, and it's good to see some uniquely Scottish broadswords in the game. Would you ever consider making a kilt mod to go along with these?
Thanks for the reply. Every so often I find a mod which makes me want to create a Scottish character, but my attempts are always derailed by the lack of good mods. I found a decent targe, and now I have a good broadsword thanks to you (and Vioxsis), but the lack or armour/clothes is the only problem.
I've tried enlisting support for making a good Scottish armour/clothes mod before, but to no avail, and I tried learning to mod myself but I just couldn't get my head around 3DS Max.
There are already some really good kilt models out there which have been used in Mount & Blade, and the author has given permission for them to be used, but nobody seemed interested:
For anybody who's curious, I have confirmed that my leveled lists efforts apparently paid off. My latest character encountered a bandit in Bleak falls Barrow that had an Iron version AND Talsgar the Wanderer was carrying a Steel version.

This is why I use this mod. Endorsed and voted. "I'm gonna get medieval on your ass."
